True, but by then the Dutch will have invented the N96 mask!

Oz seems to be doing better than Merca. What do you think? Is it the Trump mandates you agree with? Or the Aussie ones?

Do Americans really believe this crap?
To whom? GOP members?
Top U.S. congressional leaders have announced an agreement on the COVID-19 relief package.
The $900 billion relief package will provide new financial aid to the economy that has struggled by the coronavirus pandemic.
This would be the second-largest economic stimulus package in U.S. history following the $2.7 trillion aid bill that was passed in March.
The new aid package would give $600 direct payments to individuals, aim to boost unemployment by $300 a week, and give hundreds of billions of dollars in additional aid to small businesses, reports Reuters.

You guess very badly. There's this thing called Science. I tend to follow that rather than ideological approaches, silly conspiracy theories and incompetent commentators on the internet.

Covid chaos disrupts Kent ports as France bans UK freight
Boris Johnson to hold Cobra meeting on Monday after hauliers told to avoid Kent ports ‘until further notice’
Miles of lorry queues and travel chaos were expected across Kent on Monday morning after France announced a 48-hour ban on passengers and freight entering from the UK.
The prime minister, Boris Johnson, is to chair a Cobra meeting on Monday that will address “the steady flow of freight into and out of the UK”, a number 10 spokesperson said, amid expected significant disruption at ports in the south-east.
The European Union is to hold a similar crisis meeting today to coordinate its response to concerns about a fast-spreading new strain of Covid-19 after countries across the continent banned UK flight arrivals.
The UK transport secretary, Grant Shapps, warned of “significant disruption” following the snap travel ban that came into force on Sunday night. As a result of the announcement from Paris, Kent police implemented Operation Stack, where lorries will queue between junctions eight and 11 of the M20, southbound, to avoid gridlock on the county’s roads.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
You dont look at science. You just cherry pick. It is obvious with the speed of the spread of the new strain masks dont and have never worked but you wont accept that. You have and have never had scientific proof to support your claim. It is just your interpretation of the so called facts which have been supported more by politics than science; the just in case principle.
The virus is rampant in countries that have had lockdown including mask wearing for months and the figures keep increasing. Who is the silly commentator now with egg on his face.

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Radio news spoke to an independent hauler stuck on the Kent lorry park. He was due a pick up in Belgium this morning for a delivery in Marseille, a pickup in Marseille to Spain, and a pickup in Spain back to the UK in time for Christmas. As his schedule was so tight missing the first job means he's lost all three, and he still doesn't know if he's going to be able to get home for Friday as the parking system is geared towards filtering trucks onto ferries, the ferries aren't sailing, and there's a lot of trucks in front of him.

...before you blame the upsurge in cases in the Netherlands on mask wearing.Scot Dutchy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 5:55 pmAs far as I understand it is when it comes into force. No exact laws have been passed. These are all Ministerial Regulations issued under the legal framework of health protection which can be used for emergencies ie. flooding, fires etc. so that is what being used just now. Going the whole path of bill to law takes weeks at the best and years at the worst.
You can't have it both ways.
Meanwhile the other Dutch country, Belgium - is doing relatively well.
Must be the warmer weather.
