That's why right-wing comedians don't really satire - instead they tend to mock the anti-establishment types, which admittedly tends to go down well with their audiences even though it doesn't really challenge or question anything too consequential.

I have more faith in satire than you do, and expect it will maintain it's bite. However, satire is a form of commentary and I don't give it a pass anymore than I would an op-ed. I see each as argument, and evaluate it as such.

Hmmm...is it rude to ask you for examples? I've not seen biting satire aimed at Biden or Harris, from mainstream. It's almost like they are boot-lickers...that can't be right...

All of the trans issues are Democrat-friendly, less so Republican-friendly.

Now look at whether that leftie issue is accepted in movies, news orgs, academia, TV shows (is that even a thing anymore?) and the social media platforms.

I think they all universally vilify J.K. Rowling and John Cleese, for having the gall to try to be funny about it, or support free expression instead of the expected lockstep.

I'd say the establishment is even pushing that stuff into childrens education. But that might sound like a conspiracy theory.

The first minute WAS mocking Biden's apology, but it wasn't exactly 'biting'. They didn't even touch on the fact that he was accused of digitally raping her, not just grabbing her shoulders.
