Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
Just that gib seems to have started the Day 1 fos of Irre, followed by a Zig and MSG vote against Irre, followed by you and Aden also fossing Irre. I think that's the right timeline.

Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
Reading back through the days knowing Irre was the Scum Don and Feck and Aden likely killed by scum has caused me to think outside my box a bit more. Irre sused a lot of people before she went down - UT, gib, r.c, Aza, and char were all on the list, esp. UT. Maybe oddly (you decide), it leads me to sus any of them more than I ordinarily might. But then she tried to clear the rest of the field which also seems suspect in my WIFOMy and non-spectacular townie way. Again, my townie game is nowhere near my scum game, so take my babblings with a grain of salt.
I first took a good look at MSG. His removal of his Irre vote looks genuinely gallant to me, wanting to allow Irre more time to respond, which I think he genuinely thought she would. Would scum have otherwise made a point of, “As for my lynch vote, I think there's reason for it but not for a 2-vote lead”? I think scum would have simply joined the case against ksen and moved the vote without even mentioning Irre. I tried to work out if his initial vote might have been a buss, but I don’t see that either. I lean toward MSG being townish. I won’t stop a lynch of him, I just think there are better choices today.
What I did see was that UT placed his Day 1 vote against Irre at the last possible minute. Exactly as the day ended, when ksen had the lead and there was then no possibility that Irre would be lynched with his vote; and after having put the brakes on pretty hard earlier with the Irre vote (so, OK, along with MSG).
UT also seemed very protective of charlou earlier. I can just as easily imagine a consistency in an Irre, UT, char, DP scum team, as one featuring MSG. Irre votes to lynch UT right off both Day 1 and Day 2, which could just as likely be a teammate buss as wanting to eliminate a townie.
To charlou’s credit, I had missed that she said she was gonna vote MSG Day 2, until the Zig BW caught fire. So if I’m wrong about MSG, there’s that. And you guys bring up some valid concerns with MSG. His actions just made sense to me.
The other wackiness that reading through left me with was less a conviction that gib is town. I’m gonna catch it for that, especially since Irre sused him; but I’m nowhere near to thinking him scum, just less the dyed in the wool townie my conviction had operated under all game. Maybe re-reading Irre’s posts worked their voodoo magick on me?
My strongest townie leanings are now for diva, higgs2, MSG, r.c, and Mantis; with DP, UT, and charlou topping my scum pile. And I still wouldn’t mind an Aza lynch (I don’t think he would blame me).
I can’t say this enough though, that playing town is not my strong suit. If Irre hadn’t been killed, flipping Scum Don, I’d have likely checked in today with a whiteknight of her, despite overwhelming player angst against it. Maybe I'm just as blind on MSG, but I don't think so, not with those currently voting him.
(see what happens, gib, when you step aside)

charlou,
You and I might still be able to agree on a DP lynch today.
Though, of course, I could be wrong again, just as with ksen and Zig.

Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
@ I was just thinking the same thing about UT. The timing of his vote against irre, just before the end of the day and after my vote against ksen.
I'm ready to vote either UT, charlou or DP today.

But, hey, I wouldn't mind hearing some more from MSG on answering some of the FOS brought up today.

If you know someone who would be willing to sub for him, I may need a sub.

Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
Thanks, r.c, I would have completely missed that.
Also on rethinking the DP thing, is it fair for us to lynch a player who's dazed and gagged? That seems to have been what scum did with Aden, that is, a very scumish sort of thing to do?

Was just going to say this when I read your suggestion of lynch voting DP instead of MSG. If it were not for DP's post restriction preventing him speaking up for himself, I'd vote him.
What, the silencing thing? We don't know that's a scum thing, do we? The wiki says pro-town. FOS this, grit.grit wrote:That seems to have been what scum did with Aden, that is, a very scumish sort of thing to do?

Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
DP's just dropped down my list to less scummy based on the above.
Fuckit. I'm happy with my vote where it is.

this would be the rational approach but of course he can't get online so i'm not sure what we should do about this. Even if ob finds a sub straight away that sub won't really be able to answer for MSG.grit wrote:But, hey, I wouldn't mind hearing some more from MSG on answering some of the FOS brought up today.

grit this is a little odd, i thought we were working under the assumption of a non lethal day vig typa thing?charlou wrote:grit wrote:Also on rethinking the DP thing, is it fair for us to lynch a player who's dazed and gagged?

UT why did you say 'votes' here: http://www.rationalia.com/forum/viewtop ... 67#p892867

They seem to be based on zig's post about her being mayor voted, but it assumes that she was so terrified of one vote that she panicked, I just don't see that in her post.

Just reread the post I quoted there ... sorry grit, misunderstood you.charlou wrote:grit wrote:Also on rethinking the DP thing, is it fair for us to lynch a player who's dazed and gagged?

gib, grit means lynching DP while he's gagged would be similar to the scum kill of Aden while he was gagged ... ie unethical for town.
May also be the case against lynching MSG until he or his replacement can speak. I feel more certain about him, but will unvote for now. I'm off to work soon but will be back later.

Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
Just posted this in the Peanuts: Guys, I've just got back on line after nearly 24 hours but I really need a sub because I have to go away for the weekend. I lost the chance to participate in the thread and I have to drive off tonight. Sorry.
