I think the OP may be a case of overzealousness. Several of those quotes have merit, and I applaud them. A few, though, range from half-truths to hyperbole to horseshit.

Even if they all made sense, Gawd could do well with a lesson in government 101: there's this pesky little thing called "political capital". Obama's already spent a ton of it getting health care, financial reform and other big-ticket stuff through. There's only so much he's going to be able to accomplish in barely two years in office without 1) having the follow-on blow up in his face, and 2) making himself unelectable next fall. The good news is that getting Bin Laden will net him a lot more of that capital. Let's see how he spends it.

Ummm, Ian, take a look at your deficit and the recessive American economy before you talk about capital.
