and like I said yesterday about my vote that didn't count, it wasn't as random as a dice roll, I think zegmen is scum.

I also have given my role pm another view, and I noticed something that makes me think I am an indie, but it did not specifically say that, I have never even heard of elfquest so I have no idea about flavor.

athene's posting restriction and passing it on to AZa, could that be some sort of ploy?
Explain more, what exactly makes you think that you are an indie?
Cooeeee!

I have no idea what "Cooeeee" means, I assume you want me to explain, which I did already and you wither have not read or are just ignoring to make it look like I am hiding something since zegmen and I had an exchange about this an don eof my posts takes up literally half a page practically.

I said never mind, I was mistaken about the indy thing. The Gm (gib) pointed that out to me by directing me to the PG thread, in fact that was my question about my role, why gib was included on the role pm.

I was going to save this for the hour after night actions were in and daybreak hoping to get another view, but that's 5am in the morning on a sunday. I'm just not that dedicated. So if we have a protector, i'd really love to make it thru another night.

It means I'm secretly attracted to you. It doesn't I just made that up.

I'm inclined to believe you because if you're not familiar with elfquest, as I'm not, it isn't obvious that wolfriders are town. If you were scum then likely you would have been included in a mass PM to all the team, or at least told who the rest are.

Afternoon kids, first off:

Vote Irre

Second, I'm sorry for not being involved this game so far, just been busy.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

1) Praying. Mainly because she claims she did know her alignment. Read your PM. Is there any way somebody could possibly miss this? The other flail and semantic mishaps are not uncommon, though.

2) Denny. Laying low and posting recycled banter from his Town games.

3) Athene is starting to spook me. I buy the post restriction part, but I think we're dealing with an Indy.

4) Diva. Playing the noob card one post, then demonstrating advanced knowledge in the next post. I almost but her excuse about the different names for specials, but I can't trust her based on the spirit of her feigned innocence. In answer to her question, yes, I've played maybe 3-4 games at Ratskep as Zigmen. Not my cup of tea. The unwritten "rule" about no-lynch day 1s bit me on the ass, and it's a dumb rule to let Scum strike first.

My role PM doesn't give my allignment, just my character clan, character name and win condition - oh and a load of bumpf about only being able to rhyme etc. It wasn't initially obvious to me that I was town and I had to look up my character.

Linus agrees with me indicating that he got a similar PM (sans the posting restriction info), so that leaves me wondering if you got told your alignment rather then your clan, and if so what does that say about you?

Oh good grief. I have explained this several times. I will repost it in case you missed the giant sized letters in the last explanation.

I was asking whether or not a "seer" was the same as an investigator, because in the games that I played the "investigator role" came in the form of a prize of a one-night investigation to whomever it was awarded to. With the term "seer", I surmised that it was an assigned role, but I wanted to make sure and I would also like to know all of their capabilities. I had no idea that asking a question meant that you were scum...the logic of this still escapes me.

I was just hoping that it could be a prize that I might win, so that I could at least do something interesting in the game instead of pathetically wandering around in a state of semi-confusion, because I am unfamiliar with other players' style and everybody else is. I know to pay attention to the players who sit on the sidelines, definite scum tell and to watch for inconsistencies in stories. I also don't buy into every clue that is presented, as I got nailed with a lynch in a game because Irre provided a false clue and UT followed up with a factual one (I think) and there was only person whom it could have been; me.

Anyway, my FOS is pointed in Don't Panic's direction, as I am not buying the "too busy" gambit; I have seen it played so many times before. Especially since I have caught him reading the thread without contributing a couple of times.

But we have what appears to be a confirmed scum. I don't understand why the scum didn't take out MZ or Irre (although now I understand why) since he is so far is the sharpest player and is showing the most initiative as well as doing his research. I don't think I am flagging him by saying this, it should be pretty obvious to everyone.

So Higgz assassination makes no sense to me. i can only deduce it has something to do with previous games unless there was a potential there that I did not see.

Just my two cents at this point, not that anybody will read it, I am sure I will have to repeat it later. I am going to go back and read through day one and day two now that I am a little bit more familiar with people's posting styles. It seems like we are still missing some posters participation.

And nowhere in these PMs did you guys have any mention of your win condition being the elimination of all threats to TOWN?

And, if your PM did include that wording, how on earth did you guys possibly have any doubt what your alignment was?

It does say that but I was personally momentarily confused as I'm used to the PM saying explicitly something like "you are town". Early in this thread you were willing to cut praying a lot of slack for her truly astonishing postcount to content ratio. I'm not sure why the "Love Lucy" analogy doesn't extend to confusion over the role PM.

So you're not voting irre because ut has claimed to have viewed her as non-elf?
