... and now Harris! LBW - not playing a stroke. They are appealing - and he's OUT! That's a king pair for Harris - out first ball in both innings!

286/7 and Jimmy A's on a hattrick - but he might not get a chance because they've changed ends, Swanny is bowling and there is an appeal for North's wicket... 286/8!!1!!1!!UNO!!1! I can't type fast enough to keep up with the flying wickets! North out LBW to Swann. :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:

One more wicket to go. Doherty was clean-bowled by Swann for 5 while I was grabbing a bite to eat.

This will be wrapped up by lunch. An almost unblemished performance by England. The only downside is the injury to Stuart Broad which will rule him out of the rest of the series. However, it will be Australia that will have the biggest selection headaches, methinks!

All over. Siddle is bowled by Swann and the radio can go off (once I've listened to Ponting cry and Struss try desperately to praise the lacklustre opposition.)

You need to win 2 out of three and draw the third to retake the ashes, Australia. Yeah. that might happen. :hehe:

Who you got? This England side is playing cricket like you guys were back in 2005. You got another Warne or McGrath to throw at us? Bring it. A bit of a contest might be nice. :tea:

Actually, we are a classic case of a sporting team that peaked for a few years, and now is facing the inevitable decline. We will have to blood a lot of new young blokes, but it will take years, and a lot of failures. People get tired, it's hard to maintain the intensity needed to keep at the top...

Yep. We were in the same state a few years back - and had a lot of false dawns. I think we have got the mix just right at the moment. Now we just have to work on the football team. :?

Have a G&T on me Jim, now that's not something you will hear very often.
“I wish no harm to any human being, but I, as one man, am going to exercise my freedom of speech. No human being on the face of the earth, no government is going to take from me my right to speak, my right to protest against wrong, my right to do everything that is for the benefit of mankind. I am not here, then, as the accused; I am here as the accuser of capitalism dripping with blood from head to foot.”

John Maclean (Scottish socialist) speech from the Dock 1918.

Congrats to England for wrapping it all up at a respectable hour, and allowing me to get to sleep just after 1am.
