Mmmm, I just asked Oblivion if there was any point to me viewing people anymore since I had collected the people in my original PM and she has only been telling me if they were on my team or not on my team. She responded cryptically saying that she would tell me if they were on my team.

I think this means we can still get more members somehow? I thought I would only get the scarecrow, Tinman and Lion but it seems otherwise..

I’m thinking that her condition helps out the established witches teams and that we are sort of the outsider witch team. One seer was banished, meaning that a lot of the posters have to be on the remaining witch’s team. If the crystal ball gets to the wizard what will happen is the major question. The way I think is that the best option is not to let her objective be completed in case it ends up being bad for our team. We simply don’t have a way of knowing if her win condition will be good for us or not. We do know a surefire way to win though. Unfortunately it seems we have to do that through pure manipulation as we can’t NK people.

Win condiions:

Wizard of Oz - survive until one of the teams wins
Glinda - prevent any team from winning outright (force a draw)
Ozma - find and banish the Wizard
The three teams (Munchkins, Winkie/Flying Monkeys, Dorothy & friends) - outnumber all the other teams (including indies).

the three teams had an amalgam of characteristics, some of which were traditional town and some which were traditional scum.
The three indies were meant to balance each other out. Mono would tend to help whichever team was in the lead, Ghat would tend to help the teams that were behind, and Higgs would tend to focus on people with something to hide (indies and the seers of the three teams).

One other thing about the game: after day 1, each game thread title was a quote by the leader of whichever team/indie I thought had made the most decisive night move. I don't think anyone caught onto that.

Night 1 - Dorothy recruited the Scarecrow (who was viewed by 3 different players that night)
Night 2 - The Wizard banished the Cowardly Lion
Night 3 - The Wicked Witch of the West started organizing the Flying Monkeys
Night 4 - Ozma viewed the Wizard
