It's a thought. but I am not going to pressure for it. even if they are not a cleared player they can still get their hit. And I'm betting that scum go after a cleared player tonight, so leaving the question of who is the vig up in the air could mean 2 or 3 known town tomorrow if he/she doesn't out today.DennyB wrote:If we lynch Mort all zombies hit themaneki (that where the votes are now) and the vig hits SR then things would be looking good.
Also your idea of outing the vig makes alot of sence to me. If they get their hit then it can really narrow it down.

Re: Zombie Day 4
UT, thanks for clearing so many people. It really makes things a lot easier!
We've got 7 people left, with 3 definitely town. Denny has a 1/3 chance of being scum, and 1 of the last 3 of us is scum.
Possible scenarios:
1. Worst case: We eliminate 2 town by lynching and zombie attack. Denny and remaining suspect are both assassins, and take out one of the 3 who are definitely town. This leaves 2 assassins and 2 town the next day. Lynching would be deadlocked if the scum assassinate Oblivion, but the zombies can take out the assassin that day. Scum strikes during the night, leaving 1 town and 1 scum. Zombies again take over and get the scum. This is complicated of course by zombies getting the brains and coming back as scum.
2. Better: If Denny's not scum, the town has a clear majority tomorrow and cruises to a win, unless the zombies get whoever has the brains today and someone comes back as scum. Then town and zombies should go after Denny and whoever came back to life.
We're not out of the woods yet, but it looks like town has a pretty good position. The big uncertainty stems from zombie resurrection, huh?

Re: Zombie Day 4
Frankly, the resurrection factor is what worries me, and could end up screwing town.
Re: Zombie Day 4
agree. but we have no control over it, so we need to focus on what we can control - who gets lynched, who get's zombie-mobbed, and who gets NKed (if it's a vig and given the revenant factor I think an indie role would seriously screw the balance up).
Re: Zombie Day 4
Actually, we have a little control over resurrection today. I have the brains, so lynch me and let the zombies go after ScienceRob or Morticia.

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

augh. augh. augh.
Re: Zombie Day 4
I figured lynching takes precedence because it was always reported first, but I could be wrong. It also seemed like the zombies were angling for me anyway, so coming clean about the brains doesn't hurt town and may help town.Ghatanothoa wrote:How do you know that the town lynch takes precedence over a Z attack? If there is a majority of scum Zs you just fucked us
There isn't a majority of scum Zs. There are 6 town zombies with 6 votes total, and 2 scum zombies with 3 votes total.
Re: Zombie Day 4
The vanilla zombies may have either alignment TME. We should stick with the plan. Mort dies, Zs go for sciencerob and we hope there are not enough scum Zs to swing it to TME.

but I'm wondering if it makes sense for specials to out. If it increases the number of known town players it might be worth it. having 3 cleared town today is fucking awesome.

Re: Zombie Day 4
If the scum zombies have a majority and hit eki then there is a 50/50 chance of a town flipped to scum don IIRC.
We need a majority on eki now just to keep from flipping a town player. And we still may get another scum.

I'm not sure brain-voting maneki is a good idea.Charlou wrote:This.oblivion wrote:No, I don't think we should final lynch vote.

I'm rereading the rules to check this and may be AFK for a bit....DennyB wrote:If the scum zombies have a majority and hit eki then there is a 50/50 chance of a town flipped to scum don IIRC.
