First off I didn't ride in on a battleship, was pure coincidence that. You can add yourself to NSFw in the User Control Panel. It's the "Usergroups" tab.

It's a bit worrying to be regarded as scary, but I certainly know what you mean. I joined in with this lot without knowing anyone or what was going on, but I've had a whale of a time since then. You just end up fitting in. If you don't like it, you can move on, but from what you've said already, you're in.
