only if we don't learn from our mistakes.
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

You may be right, I may be crazy, but it just might be a lunatic you're looking for?

I take your points, I can't really argue with any of it. I wasn't using human nature to support keeping Capitalism. Really, I'm just pointing out that Capitalism is the only working system that human nature has produced.
Communism relies on a type of human nature that doesn't exist. That's why it can only be held together with barbed wire and lots of guns.
I would love to see a better system, that human nature could produce and sustain. But with this thread, I'm just proposing a little evolution, as there is no appetite or viable model right now for a revolution.

What you say about culture being capable of producing very different "natures" is very true, and intrinsically human. But not all of it is done with the informed consent of the masses. It's absolutely incredible what you can do, if you have control of the media.

Nothing has changed there. Whether it's North Korea or the United Kingdom, the people who control the media have control of the future. It doesn't say much for independent thinking, but it's true.

As money is a made up concept ,we are really talking about materials and services ? to say that the only system that humans can live under is one where some people amass vast amounts of materials and others service their needs and wants for a tiny percentage of those materials is ..um well well Fucking sick .

The great right wing cake analogy ....we will NEVER share the cake equally but those on the floor should be glad that the bigger the slice of cake we get The more crumbs we will drop ?
The question is not how nice it is that some BILLIONAIRES have agreed to give up some money (mostly after their death btw ) But what a fucked up system and what narrow minded individuals they must be to have amassed that much material and not noticed that the change they would leave as a tip rather than spoil the line of their suit would save Lives in many places across the world .

Not wanting to be political but have the US given 5 billion dollars in HUMANITARIAN aid to any country for the last 60 years ?

No, capitalism doesn't need a tweak. Generation "Y" just needs a Jap-slapping, that's all.

I've seen it in the movies a thousand times. Women do it to men all the time in the movies. Rare is the movie that doesn't include at least one Jap-slapping of a man by a woman.

Men will also Jap-slap other men to bring them back to their senses when they freak out and go apeshit.

It works. Try it on one of your apeshit friends some time. Your friend will immediately snap out of it and say, "Thanks. I needed that."

You're either crazy or drunk. If you're holding a bottle of booze you're probably drunk. If there is no alcohol in your immediate vicinity you're probably crazy.

Determine the nature of your malfunction, and then check yourself into the appropriate clinic.

But whatever you do, do NOT keep talking to me. I've been known to aggravate both insanity and alcoholism.

P.S. - And that was me, not the insult bot.

The problem is solved. Feck has said he won't do it again.

If either of you do I think we'd be discussing cooling off suspensions, but as all has gone quiet we'll leave it at reminders for now.
