I take your points, I can't really argue with any of it. I wasn't using human nature to support keeping Capitalism. Really, I'm just pointing out that Capitalism is the only working system that human nature has produced.
Communism relies on a type of human nature that doesn't exist. That's why it can only be held together with barbed wire and lots of guns.
I would love to see a better system, that human nature could produce and sustain. But with this thread, I'm just proposing a little evolution, as there is no appetite or viable model right now for a revolution.

What you say about culture being capable of producing very different "natures" is very true, and intrinsically human. But not all of it is done with the informed consent of the masses. It's absolutely incredible what you can do, if you have control of the media.

Nothing has changed there. Whether it's North Korea or the United Kingdom, the people who control the media have control of the future. It doesn't say much for independent thinking, but it's true.
