this is awesome! I'm shocked CNN reported it this way and correctly labeled animal testing as torture. Wow!

Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

Well that's a story with a good ending.

I like safe medicine myself. Fuck the monkeys
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

The less harmful health products do not actually do anything.

But we can test the drugs now on Rod Blagojevich.

This is some of the worst news reporting I've ever seen. We are not informed of what sort of experimentation these animals were "rescued" from. The word "torture" is used repeatedly, along with a great deal of other emotive and editorial content which has no place in a news report without proper definition and provision of exemplars. The actual information content of this report could have been summed up in about five seconds- the other <4 min. are entirely editorial content.

We need animal testing. Most of us are alive right now because of past animal testing and more of us will live better later because of animal testing. It is difficult to stomach, but it is a necessary tool for understanding our physiology, psychology, and responses to chemicals.

Another thing: That sour-faced news bitch went on and on about how bad "chemicals" are in our products while never once picking out a specific bad "chemical." It was blatant, childish chemo-phobia of the most egregious kind. Many of the "chemicals" which are incorporated into our products are there because they are, in fact, preferable to the "natural" ingredients they're replacing. Chemo-phobes tend to present us with untenable and sophomoric false dichotomies when they go on their pathetic little rants.

CNN appears to have finished their transition to the Faux News format. As if we needed another one.

I am concerned that any forum members fixate on cosmetic testing. Most animal testing is not cosmetic testing. We're just fed that info because it's easier for PETA and other animal liberation nut-jobs to get us upset about it than the essential work which cannot be completed or even begun without animal testing.

Actually, no. I stopped when it began looking like this report.

There is more information to be had from five minutes of staring at belly-button lint than from watching a full hour of most news programming. Not just about belly-button lint: I think it also gives me a better feel for current events.

Of course it's bullshit.
Everything inr egard to 'animal liberation' is.

ANimal rights activists would orgasm at the prospect of an untested drug being released on ther human populace because they have absolutely no consideration at all for the lives of their fellow human beings.

Thanks. I always try to educate the masses, but it seems impossible. When I explain that milk is not made up of "milk" molecules, they are lost already.
