Re: Fail
I have to thank the religious for their funny billboards and signs. They kept me from falling asleep at the wheel when we drove from Kentucky to Orlando.
I can't remember exactly what they said, but immediately after crossing into Florida the highway was barraged with a series of at least 20 anti-abortion signs, peppered among the signs for Adult Toy Stores, some decrying Obama for his pro-abortion stance.
"Believe ON the lord" - I saw this sign all over the south, including Missouri.
"Exposure to the son will prevent burning", "Go to Church, or the Devil will get you", "Don't let Christians put you off Jesus", "Jesus Heals, Pornography Destroys"...are just some of the signs I can remember.

Re: Fail
I failed to get a picture from the church down the street when they replaced the road in front of my house.
The sign said: "Fill up this parking lot!"
The whole thing was filled up with construction equipment.

The sign was outside a church that burned to the ground.

Rest assured it's not like that on the West and East Coasts, just in the Bible Belt.Feck wrote:A country where guns are freely available ...and all those church signs ........I should never visit
Oh, and I forgot to mention the three giant Confederate flags I saw when I was in Georgia.

Re: Fail

God has gone for a bit of overkill!!!
Just because more people believe Jesus is the son of God and not the son of Satan does not make it any truer.

Re: Fail
Maybe the church had gotten the Sodom treatment because the minister was a gay-adulterous-pedophile pervo who had skimped on the Godfather's cut of the collections?Gawdzilla wrote:My favorite was:Feck wrote:A country where guns are freely available ...and all those church signs ........I should never visit
