I dislike nationalism and Patriotism they are divisive and petty. I guess my views on country and my state are benign laid-back parochialism.

What kind of "nationalism" and "patriotism"? We've pointed out that those two words cover a pretty broad spectrum of attitudes.

All kinds because they can be subverted by the powers that be to suppress dissent and promote racism et al.

You can do the same with "love", "passion", "desire", "enthusiasm", etc., then.
