Right. You think a "country" is "land". The neoprog conditioning is already sinking in.Tails Turrosaki wrote:Thank you.Toontown wrote:He can have all the slack he wants, as long as he keeps his ass out of the armed forces and his hands off the constitution.Gawdzilla wrote:Toon, Tails is fourteen. Just don't get separated from the herd.
What's wrong with a little friendly advice? Is a 14's brain considered too undeveloped for grown-up advice? However, I don't ever plan on "serving my country"... It's a fucking piece of land. Only your family and friends will remember your death. Nobody else will care. How can you be proud of "dying for your country" when the country doesn't even remember you?
You would prefer to die of cancer? Or maybe in an auto accident? A cancer-assed hero is something to be. Or an auto-crushed hero.
I'm happy you're taking my advice, and I'm sure the armed forces are also breathing a sigh of relief.
As long as you never expect "the country" to serve you, then fine. Like I said. Don't call us. We'll call you.
P.S. - "dying" for your "country" is another typical neoprog red herring. Fewer than 1% of members of the armed forces die for their "country".
