Ugh. You have to create a Steam account.

Don't trust. What's the catch?

There won't be a catch, they're good people steam, but they probably want to send you emails to encourage you to buy some of their stuff later.

Don't worry. Steam is one of the best, longest running, most successful online distributors of games. It was created by Valve, the guys who made Half-life, so they could sell Half life 2 online while avoiding piracy. They now publish and distribute about a thousand games - all genres, from indie games to old classics (late 90's ish) and of course loads of big shiny new games too.

Once you have an account you can re-download any games you buy on to any computer (though they can only be played on one computer at a time). They have hundreds of free demos you can easily download and play. The games are usually sold recommended retail price but once or twice a week they do massive deals for a few days where they put a particular selection of games at half price or something (or in this case for free!). There's also a huge steam community and steam comes with friends lists and messaging and everything.

If there is a catch, it's that you need to log in before playing your games, there is an off-line mode but steam often has to update itself, so it can cause problems if you have bad internet connection.

 This game is great. I'm only just out of the training session and on the first level. I imagine it's going to be quite taxing.

Thanks Tails.

The cracked version had some technical issues.

Not that I've ever played the cracked version...

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.
