I can sometimes really see homosexuals, and even hear them talking to me. Sometimes they almost convince me that I am the Chosen One. I live near a Christian conference center, and the streets all around this private gated community have Bible verse posted everywhere. In protest I posted the Douglas Adams quote on a tree on my property. Most of the people that walk by are Christians visiting the center, or are retired. Some have asked about it. I start off by telling them, with conviction I have seen fairies at the bottom of my garden and it's perposterous to suggest none exist as I have seen them. When they look at me like I'm a crazy person, I explain that I am an atheist and don't believe in God any more than I believe in fairies, and that I am making a statement of my own along side the bible verses that are posted everywhere. Say it with conviction and even argue your point if you need to. Then see what the reactions you get are like.

I'm hoping to try out the fairies one and keep a straight face long enough for them to believe me. I find that if I tell religious people I am a Pastafarian, they often get angry because they feel the whole concept of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is actively insulting and taking the piss out of them and their beliefs... it's not, but that's what they always seem to think.
