Someone on the BBC lunchtime news today called the Israeli govt a fascist regime - the broadcaster/journalist didn't even challenge it. However, at the end of the interview they did announce that Israel disputes the charge of genocide and the ICJ has still to pass a final legal judgement on that charge. Such a weight of serious consideration and judgement from the likes of UNHCR, the ICC, OHCHR, the overwhelming majority of genocide scholars, the provisional findings of the ICJ, UNICEF, the Red Cross/Crescent, etc etc, that a genocide is ongoing in Gaza, and the BBC are still trotting out Israel's excuses on its behalf. To my mind that's not 'balance', that's 'complicity'.

Greta Thunberg was dragged, beaten, and forced to kiss the Israeli flag for trying to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. The fact that she’s brutalized and treated like a criminal for choosing humanity is horrific! We cannot stay silent.
