Re: Russia invades Ukraine again?
Given conventional forces are enough to crush Ukraine the only reason for Putin to put his nukes on high alert is NATO/USA. Which might be the soul objective of the exercise. America gonna get Pearl Harboured again?

You'd be better far at sea in prime fishing grounds ....
The reason the hippies came to Kuranda was a prepper mindset but one not driven by fear rather than wanting an independent self sustaining life style.
You can do that here.

If Putin intended to 'Pearl Harbour' the US he would not have made it publicly known that he has 'put his nukes on high alert'.aufbahrung wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 4:21 pmGiven conventional forces are enough to crush Ukraine the only reason for Putin to put his nukes on high alert is NATO/USA. He's using reverse logic. No one expected the invasion of Ukraine precisely because he built his forces up in plain sight.Hermit wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 6:27 pmIf Putin intended to 'Pearl Harbour' the US he would not have made it publicly known that he has 'put his nukes on high alert'.aufbahrung wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 4:21 pmGiven conventional forces are enough to crush Ukraine the only reason for Putin to put his nukes on high alert is NATO/USA. ....just because he's practicing firing his nukes doesn't mean he won't. Depends on what mood he's in...Hermit wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 8:27 pmMeanwhile, back in the real world...aufbahrung wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 7:14 pmNo one expected the invasion of Ukraine precisely because he built his forces up in plain sight.

Maga-Mike on Foxnews thinks the only solution is to take out Russia now.

Sergey Aleksashenko, a former deputy chairman of the Russian central bank who now lives in the United States, said that Russia's national wealth fund would effectively disappear.
"(President Vladimir) Putin and (former Finance Minister Alexei) Kudrin built it up for years, thinking about a major war," he said. "War has come, and there is no money."
