How about saying publicly that their country is the best? Or saying that they want their culture to be the dominant one?Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 3:02 amWell, that is why I asked what you meant by patriot and by supporting the constitution. If you've got some special meaning for patriot (i.e. they wave flags) then maybe the answer is different. But I don't think so.
Why should it be a tough question?
Since the right to bear arms is in opposition to regulations restricting the right to bear arms, it seems pretty cut-and-dried to me. Either you support it, or not.Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 3:02 am
I'm guessing you have a special meaning for supporting the 1st and 2nd as well, one that excludes those who support the right to bear arms and sensible regulation,
As to hate speech / free speech, they are in even more direct conflict. How can hate speech restrictions work with freedom of speech, if one group thinks it is hateful to draw Mohamad, and one thinks it is an expression of freedom?Sean Hayden wrote: ↑Sat Dec 01, 2018 3:02 am
as well as those who support free speech and efforts to check hate speech.
I don't think I can do much with that. It's possible that no democrats see things exactly your way. Why were you looking for that again?
I'm guessing you are one of those who can't support 1a or 2a clearly. I would guess that the democrats have your vote.
NO! You have to answer the way HE wants you to.

You and Farty Twat make a formidable team.
...making it up as you go along and then when caught out, blame the definitions.
We can't fault your logic, since it doesn't exist.

What are you on about? Making what up?
This exchange was about the extreme right. I've told you I don't think anyone on the extreme right (as I understand it) is good. What is it you think you've caught me out on?
Farty Twat? LOL. Why don't you stop commenting on things you don't know anything about. How anyone can be an adult and not have read basic Marx and Engels -- my gosh. How ignorant can you be?

Re: The Thread of Democrats
That's fine with me, leave it to the individual states to define what "militia" means. Screw the Feds, let them coin money, enter into foreign treaties, and maintain the standing army, otherwise STFU and let the states make their own rules. Don't like the gun laws in Alabama? Move to New York.Tero wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 1:49 pmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Am ... militia%22
The court went and REDEFINED militia. In colonial times it had a clear meaning. Nothing of the King or US federal government. Strictly the state militia.
"the civic duty to act in concert in defense of the state.[11]" Wiki
Doesn't really matter what the court did with the definitions. They held that the 2nd protects private ownership so the 2nd does, in fact, protect private ownership, no matter what other people would like it to mean.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Care to list the good elements of the extreme right by your definition of the 'extreme right'?Forty Two wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 1:13 pmMy qualification is only because of differing definitions of what constitutes extreme right. So the extreme right doesn't just have bad elements, it is bad elements?

Trump is a Nazi like his KKK daddy.
Hillary is a regular white person.
All them libertarians are Nazis too.
White college educated liberals are only slightly hip. Just barely out of Nazi range.

Re: The Thread of Democrats
I wouldn't put it that way, but how about - it's intellectually bankrupt, usually racist, authoritarian in its politics, distasteful, simplistic, often hateful, and often collectivist or statist in philosophy. No redeeming qualities. Good enough?Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 9:54 pmSo the extreme right doesn't just have bad elements, it is bad elements?

And, this is why I was careful to mention "my" definition - - because there are plenty of Progressive nutcases who really think this. Tero probably isn't being ironic here.
