How many genders will the public need to recognize, in order to satisfy those who have been pushing for law around this?

Heterosexual, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, and asexual or allied should cover the lot, but you don't need to be able to recognise them before you encounter any. Surely, you'll recognise a gender expression when someone mentions one? Some are bound to be novel to you, like, say, someone telling you he is a cycle-sexualist.

Here is the point I'm making, Hermit.

None of that is my business. Whatever I fit into there, I wouldn't think it polite to share it beyond intimate contacts (sex partner, doctor, no need to tell friends my preferences, they can guess or fuck off )

Canada is a fucking loony bin around this. People insisting that laws cannot be enforced (they have been - example above) everyone insisting that it doesn't matter, while at the same time children are being indoctrinated to disagree with even adults about gender.

One of the panel members raised an interesting point, which I'll try to boil down to a question.

If a child expresses the opposite gender to their sex, they may grow up to be trans, or may grow up to be gay. How can you tell the difference? (remember that people are all-in on this - hormone-blockers and a whole life changed to suit)
