Re: Problematic Stuff
We could sort this out if Cunt would post the parts of the law he thinks are problematic, like L'Emmy asked him to do multiple times days ago.

"The Western world is fucking awesome because of mostly white men" - DaveDodo007.
"Socialized medicine is just exactly as morally defensible as gassing and cooking Jews" - Seth. Yes, he really did say that..
"Seth you are a boon to this community" - Cunt.
"I am seriously thinking of going on a spree killing" - Svartalf.

Re: Problematic Stuff
I found one, after a very short google search. Should I now provide a method of estimating the incidence of gender-faking? Why bother?pErvinalia wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 10:23 pmHow many people do you think are going to change just to fuck with you (or someone else)? Seriously, what a ridiculous view.Cunt wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 2:47 pmYou aren't understanding, Scot Dutchy.Scot Dutchy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 6:23 amYou cant change gender at will. Once again Cunt you are being one. I think basically you are very uncomfortable at the thought what you see is not what you get.
Those ideal trans people you are describing are going to be as honest as you imagine them.
But when this law is available, I assure you people will abuse it.
Now, as to the law (in Canada) my understanding is that one only needs to decide to change, and their new choice is immediately protected under our Human Rights legislation.
No facts change your mind about anything.
No, I don't. Neither does anyone else.
Help me understand with step 1, since it seems to confound any who try to answer.
How many genders will the public need to recognize, in order to satisfy those who have been pushing for law around this?
I choose to only recognize one, and am considering taking a teaching job. If I need more, make your case.
Can you tell me how tenured professors get fired over speech then?JimC wrote:straw man
I mean, if tenure is threatened over speech, this would be big news, right? I mean, like an attack on academic freedom which should be rejected by all parties, right?

You catastrophising hyperbolically about your personal fears is not "facts".Cunt wrote: ↑Wed Oct 03, 2018 12:30 amI found one, after a very short google search. Re: Problematic Stuff
If you really want to know how compelled speech comes out of this, a lawyer in Canada took a few minutes to explain.

"And I'll agree that the bill itself on its face does not seem to imply any manner of compelled speech."
Anything else, he concedes, is speculation.

So, no real response to the quote, then...

Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!
And my gin!

This is a more thorough explanation. You can keep making you case that the law will never be enforced.
I don't believe you yet, over the lawyer in this recording. Still listening to both of you though.

Forcing people to mouth words and opinions is totalitarian. (quote from the lawyer who is more convincing than you in his knowledge of the subject)

Seriously, who the fuck is doing that, or even suggesting it?

Oh look, someone accused of violating bill c-16
Because of sharing a criticism of the bill itself.

Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Re: Problematic Stuff
I understand you don't want to watch, but I'll try to answer questions.
The force I worry most about, is the kind which was applied, in secret, to Professor Rick Mehta, before he (a tenured Acadia professor) was fired. Oh, and they would not provide the information about the complaints unless he was willing to sign a gag-order.
He has uncommon resistance. How many prof's just shut up when their administration ordered them to?
