The Royals are hardly to blame. It's the wankers who fall for it who need to take a look at themselves.
If people stopped telling their children stories about handsome princes and princesses, they wouldn't grow up with this loony fixation.
Tell them about ugly princesses who look like horses, and princes who have their ex wives bumped off for having rumpy pumpy with an arab.
Or syphalitic kings who kill their wives when they fancy a new one.
