China is also using mass surveillance and ratting out your neighbour etc to implement their bizarre Social Credit behavioural manipulation scheme. China has gone fucking mad in the last few years. Soon it's going to be the ultimate panopticon ruled by a permanent dictator.

It doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. It does at least have that in its favour. The price of 'stability'.

I'm not defending China - but it is true to say that the number of simmering local ethnic issues and the like are much underestimated by outsiders. The 'management' are terrified of that more than anything I would say having been a China watcher most of my life.

How the fuck would they be able to track down if you listed all? More likely, you give your Facebook and Twitter, they track down your IP addresses and cellular ID. Then they match those with addresses they have compiled of people posting in antifa or muslim terrorist sites.

My photo at age 12 for green card could barely be matched with my ID picture from 1976 when I applied for citizenship. No problem, they had two sets of my fingerprints to compare. I seemed to be the same person.
