A while back a report said that China will stop people with low social ranking of the Chinese FB travelling.

It doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. It does at least have that in its favour. The price of 'stability'.pErvinalia wrote:This is Mission Impossible stuff!
China is also using mass surveillance and ratting out your neighbour etc to implement their bizarre Social Credit behavioural manipulation scheme. China has gone fucking mad in the last few years. Soon it's going to be the ultimate panopticon ruled by a permanent dictator.
I'm not defending China - but it is true to say that the number of simmering local ethnic issues and the like are much underestimated by outsiders. The 'management' are terrified of that more than anything I would say having been a China watcher most of my life.

Re: Fortress America?
China will split into three kingdoms. America perhaps five. The oil is running down so 'new trade borders' are gonna be too lucrative a temptation to avoid. All those small countries the larger ones trod on as they went upwards they'll meet coming back down. So new nation names are essential to 'forget' the past. Meanwhile let this fortress be built. They'll need to invade Canada for the shale oil and wheat to keep it going. So perhaps a quarter century left for large blocs....before inevitable disintegration. It'll be slow - might be a century, before technological civilization fully collapses into the new long, very long, dark age....to come.

Goodness me.
If there's a computer that can tell one Chinese face from another, I want one. That thing must have some serious processing power.
Not that I'm racist, or anything. I'm actually mocking a common western stereotype.

While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Say what you want about modern boarder management technology, but nothing beats an old fashioned, slapdash, and somewhat overly forceful, rectal probing to put the fear into any potential immigration scammer.
A sign at the airport that said "By entering the Unites States you give the United States permission to enter you. Be prepared to surrender your anus beyond this point, " would do a lot to turn the illegals straight back around.

I think they already take your fingerprints at the border. Put your palm on the scanner.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

How the fuck would they be able to track down if you listed all? More likely, you give your Facebook and Twitter, they track down your IP addresses and cellular ID. Then they match those with addresses they have compiled of people posting in antifa or muslim terrorist sites.
My photo at age 12 for green card could barely be matched with my ID picture from 1976 when I applied for citizenship. No problem, they had two sets of my fingerprints to compare. I seemed to be the same person.
