Yeah, showing support for demonised minorities is so wrong.
Find a "demonized" minority, and we'll talk about it. LOL.
A number of us have already linked you to racist abuse since Trump's election.
There have been allegations, but there was racist abuse before Trump's election. I've seen no evidence that there is more of it now than before. Further, some of the "racist abuse" is contrived - like the Hillary supporters who drew swastikas and such on a church to make it look like Trump supporters were doing it, and they were caught on camera doing it themselves. We don't have any hard evidence, that I've seen, to show that there is any significant increase in violence. Although there are a lot of opponents of Trump taking to the streets, blocking traffic, damaging property and threatening/assaulting Trump supporters.... there has been an obvious, video-recorded, series of post-election violence against Trump supporters. It's unclear if it's more anti-Trump supporter violence after the election as compared to during the campaign. But, there is violence.

And, it's not "support for demonized minorities." It's narcissistic virtue-signalling designed to pretend to be on the side of people who don't "feel" safe.
How the fuck would you know? Have you asked any minorities if they appreciate the support?
I'm talking about the people putting on the safety pins. Whether the minorities appreciate it has nothing to do with why the douchebags are putting the safety pins on in the first place. It is so douchie to wear that safety pin. It's just virtue-signalling at its best. "Look at me! I'm one of the good ones! Oh, poor baby, if you don't 'feel safe' you can come to me and I'll say 'there there...'" Fucking ridiculous. There isn't anything "unsafe" after the election that was "safer" before the election. Their preferred candidate lost. Trump is not fucking Hitler. He's not a dictator. He doesn't want to round people up and put them in camps. He doesn't give a flying fuck about LGBTQ or gay people, or black people, and he wants them to be as safe as everyone else. He's focused on the economy, the borders and foreign policy.
If he sticks to that, he's got enough on his place.

It's the horseshit identity politics that gets a professor at the University of Virginia, founded by Thomas Jefferson, called to the carpet for using an appropriate quote from Thomas Jefferson. Professors and such at the University of Virginia should avoid quoting Thomas Jefferson because such quote usage makes some people not "feel" safe.
http://www.cavalierdaily.com/article/20 ... -jefferson That's the "safety" these people want. The right to be safe from professors quoting one of the greatest American statesmen and thinkers. It feels counter to a message of unity, equality and civility....

Wow, a safety pin does all that.

It's the same kind of identity politics. I didn't say the safety pins caused the professor to be treated that way. It's the same progressive, identity politicking douchebags that are doing it, though. They're of the same ilk. Fucking assholes.
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar
