There have been allegations, but there was racist abuse before Trump's election. I've seen no evidence that there is more of it now than before. Further, some of the "racist abuse" is contrived - like the Hillary supporters who drew swastikas and such on a church to make it look like Trump supporters were doing it, and they were caught on camera doing it themselves. We don't have any hard evidence, that I've seen, to show that there is any significant increase in violence. Although there are a lot of opponents of Trump taking to the streets, blocking traffic, damaging property and threatening/assaulting Trump supporters.... there has been an obvious, video-recorded, series of post-election violence against Trump supporters. It's unclear if it's more anti-Trump supporter violence after the election as compared to during the campaign. But, there is violence.

I'm talking about the people putting on the safety pins. Whether the minorities appreciate it has nothing to do with why the douchebags are putting the safety pins on in the first place. It is so douchie to wear that safety pin. It's just virtue-signalling at its best. "Look at me! I'm one of the good ones! Oh, poor baby, if you don't 'feel safe' you can come to me and I'll say 'there there...'" Fucking ridiculous. There isn't anything "unsafe" after the election that was "safer" before the election. Their preferred candidate lost. Trump is not fucking Hitler. He's not a dictator. He doesn't want to round people up and put them in camps. He doesn't give a flying fuck about LGBTQ or gay people, or black people, and he wants them to be as safe as everyone else. He's focused on the economy, the borders and foreign policy.
If he sticks to that, he's got enough on his place.
