You said it.
WOW! The EU will never recover from that. The scale of the calamity dwarfs the 10% dip in 2009, and the community did not recover from that blip either. And yes, as the article prophecies, Netherlands will be among the hardest hit. Will nobody think of all those poor tulips?Up to 0.3pc of eurozone GDP will be wiped off the single currency's 19 economies in less than two years
rEv, Svarty's summary is about as good as a one sentence description gets. The EU began in 1957 as no more than a tariff-free zone. Over the years it became clear that a whole heap of standards agreed to by all members was not just advantageous, but also necessary.eRv wrote:I don't want links. I want to have a discussion. Tell my why the EU is good/bad.
Well it is like the payments that Britain make to the EU another Brexit myth. The 350 million pounds a week is now been reduced to only 0.6% of total tax income of the UK. What amazes me that people are willing to trust the three stooges and never mind hop-a-long Farage. I mean look at IDS a total failure and wanker supreme. Never mind Johnson and Gove. People are willing to give a country's future into the hands of gits like these. Voluntary. We have no compulsory voting.eRv wrote:Is the vote compulsory or voluntary?
I'm willing to bet that it will be well over fifty percent. Although I haven't seen the betting odds for that.eRv wrote:What % voter turnout do they expect? If it's less than 50% I reckon you guys should officially scrap democracy and install a benevolent dictatorship due to mass apathy.
