Did the doctors get it wrong? Credulous religious faith in the incompetence of doctors is not an explanation for the events cited. Critically robust scientific evidence of their error is required, according to your own standards.
No, my standards are to go with the evidence.
Evidently you're either lying or you're delusional because in this case you are NOT going with the evidence.
The stronger the evidence for something, the stronger is my confidence.
Legally dead teenage girl medical science has given up on because of the severity of the insult to the brain suddenly, unexpectedly and without medical or scientific explanation recovers.
That's the evidence. Please explain, using valid reason and logic how it is rational to arbitrarily dismiss the possibility of divine intervention in this event.
In the case of gods, the evidence is practically nil. If you exclude loony type anecdotes, or regard them as practically worthless, which I do.
Denial of evidence is not evidence of falsity of the evidence.
In cases like this, anecdotes of a non scientific nature, I regard it as not worth the effort of pursuing.
What's "non scientific" about a teenage girl with an all-but-universally fatal brain injury suddenly and inexplicably recovering? Are you really so dogmatically resistant to reason that you reject one possible answer when the evidence is staring you in the face? And if it's not divine intervention, then, as I asked, please provide a rational scientific explanation of how this event came to pass. Simply denying it is intellectually bankrupt and scientifically insufficient. It happened. Either there's a "natural" explanation for it or there's a "supernatural" explanation for it. So which is it, and why?
Maybe I'm missing the one instance of a genuine intervention by the creator of the universe.
I don't give a fuck. The odds of that being the case are miniscule.
I don't think the onus is on me to disprove every anecdote from every loony or liar.
So now you're claiming that the event did not happen and that the girl was not legally brain dead and did not suddenly and unexpectedly recover? The evidence before us suggests that you are merely being evasive by attempting to deny that the event occurred when all the evidence in hand points to certainty that the event did occur. Therefore, since you are claiming that the report is false, it is up to you to substantiate your claim of journalistic fraud or be dismissed as a crank.
