Imitation Game.

Good movie. Very much. Even if a little too middle class for some bloke like me. Anyone would think they invented homophobia? :nono:

Divergent.

Surprisingly low key, except for the fight scenes.... :coffee:

Saw the last 20 minutes of the remake of King Solomon's Mine earlier, which was about 12 minutes too much.

I often end up with a lump in my throat at the movie theatre :ask:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I really enjoyed that movie! And her ballgown is an absolute masterpiece of costuming and it damned well better win an Oscar. The dance shots from overhead showing how that gown flowed were breathtaking. Over a thousand crystal beads were hand-sewn on that gown. Truly remarkable. And then there's her corset... :naughty:

Why would I bother? Lily James is very, very beautiful, and the gown she wore only enhanced her beauty. One does not have to be gay to appreciate a beautiful woman in a beautiful dress. Just because it's the antithesis of the "little black dress" doesn't mean it's not gorgeous, and the engineering that went in to making that dress move the way it did is a work of art all it's own. It's not like I want to wear it myself.

You're a narrow-minded bigot if you think only gay men can appreciate women's fashion. After all, they don't wear that stuff for gay guys, they wear it to attract us straight guys.

Show me a straight guy that wouldn't think, "There was a dress? Who knew?" ;)

I saw the 3rd Hobbit movie last night. Managed to keep my eyes open for nearly all of it.
