My mum worked her butt off between the wars in woollen mills with other working class girls in the 30's, and then she was a WAAAF (Women's Auxillary Australian Air Force) during WW2.maiforpeace wrote:I give any mom credit for being mom. After the war, she married Dad, and raised me, which would have been bloody hard work - she was well into her 40's, and Dad in his 50's when I was born...
