I"m not sure you even understand my logic. That late pm has nothing to do with whether you might be scum or town. I don't think I ever said your posting was idiocy (I assume you mean posting that you hadn't gotten your pm in the peanuts thread?) I am just saying that it has no bearing on whether you are scum or town. Certainly doesn't make you 99% innocent. Am I the only one who thinks that is absurd?

As I said yesterday, I agree that the PM thing has nothing useful to say about Twinkie's role status.


I think virphen's rationale for making the following statement needs a lot more attention:

1. Twinkie is innocent, almost beyond doubt.

I think it's either a ploy to look innocent by supporting a town person (as Feck suggested), or they're both mafia. The way twinkie has posted about the whole thing seems odd, and the lack of response from virphen to my questions yesterday doesn't look good either.


Higgs2, to answer your question to me, other than the above two players I just mentioned and Normal's posting behaviour as described by Uselesstwit, I can't see anything particularly telling about any of the other players. I also agree with Uselesstwit about Feck's behaviour - probably not scummy, just self-preserving.

My thoughts are this:

I think Charlou, Feck & Twinkie are probably innocent.

Col voted for Charlou straight off the bat on the first day. Twinkie came in and voted Col right away on day 1. Feck's post on day 1 - (the lengthy one) really just seemed like he was fearlessly fooling around because he knows there is nothing to hide. A scum would be more careful, I think.

I was suspicious of higgs2 & Uselesstwit. However, I have just read Useless's post regarding higgs2, so I don't know if they are on the same team. He seemed to be fingering suspicion towards her. However, that could be a ploy since he knows that she has a good chance of getting lynched today. But if it's not a ploy then I'm thinking - the scum team is either:

higgs2 & Normal or

Useless & Normal/virphen.

(I discluded virphen from the first batch since higgs2 has been giving him a lot of guff for what he said about Twinkie).

And that's assuming that the game started with 3 scum.


And, I could be way off... but, that's my list for now.

Mantis, is one of my 3 most likely suspects. I have gotten used to him dropping tells when he's innocent, but this game he just seems a bit off.

I sort of agree with you Charlou and Normal haven't aroused my Suspicions yet. Not sure about the others but I think Virphen and Useless have been making the odd strange post

See, the thing is, I have not said anywhere that virphen is town. What I've asked for is real reasons to think he's scum. So it's hardly being defensive.


I fail to see how charlou is cleared to any degree. Last game she chopped and changed her lynch votes, FOS'd people, where this game she is doing the minimum required. She is also focusing on this virphen thing and hasn't said anything else other than being very agreeable to uselesstwit. She is definitely on my list of suspects.

Normal might just being going for self-preservation this game (as town), or keeping his head down (as scum). I'd like to hear from him and hear his thinking about everyone's play.

My mostly cleared players are Mantis and Feck, because they are playing town games.

I didn't respond yesterday as I lost my internet connection for most of the afternoon and only got it back 10 minutes before the end of the round. Twinkie can probably attest to that, given we were in a conversation (not regarding the game of course) when I abruptly disappeared. And if she doesn't, or that is irrelevant given you suspect both of us, you should at least be able to verify that I didn't post either here or on ratskep during that time.

I'm surprised you haven't cottoned on to the other potential reasons 1. that I was so convinced of Twinkie's innocence because I really am scum and thus didn't express any doubt because I didn't have any (there's probably a psychological term for that) or 2. the real reason.

I'll explain 2 on the next game day, if I'm still alive. And if I fail to, go ahead and lynch me.

This is indeed true. I was going to say it before, but some people have blinders on (and some people aren't really trying to be helpful to town in this game).
