Okay, my thought is that Az made that comment early in the day as though he
knows there will be no counterclaim ... it seems to me because he didn't expect there to be one ... because he is the doc.

Late for me too.
Others may decide otherwise. But Aza seems to have accepted his fate and I find that surprising.

my niggle is the fact that dp challenged aza at all, I've been in a similar situation, where a scum about to be lynched role-claimed my special role - I was a seer in that game. I went along with it because it was very early on in the game, it was a blatant attempt to get me to out, and I wanted to see if anyone would try and get themselves some townie cred by doubting the claim.

Others I am suspicious of right now are Gonzo for going for an easy bandwagon early yesterday and DP for trying to lynch Aza at this point in the game.

Jesus Christ you guys. If DP ends up being the doc then he is one of the most retarded docs I've seen if he soft outs and then let's this distraction carry on all day instead of just claiming outright. Specials serve their purpose if they help get scum. If they die doing so that's ok. Their win condition isn't to survive the whole damn game.
