Tarot III Mafiia: Day 2 - That Which Is
Well I think charlou and I did what we could under the circumstances. There was no clear scum target. She made the call. I followed. Zigmen seemed a good choice.
Aza has to be telling the truth. I'm inclined to back of UT accordingly.

short of a counter-claim, I'm going to accept aza's role-claim.
Why did you follow charlou and myself on to aza? Earlier you pointed out to me that profile watching leads to lynching for the wrong reason, and my vote rationale was blatantly based on the information I had received from profile watching.

Followed a bit later by a hop onto the easy BW for me. That is a big FOS as is Feck's driveby DP vote. I have seen enough scum threads where he gets worried about not being seen to be going after DP when he does exactly that in the game thread. Those are my picks for todayMagicziggy wrote:I'm not going to lynch DP on no posts only.
There's scum posting for sure.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Tarot III Mafiia: Day 2 - That Which Is
Hey kids, sorry I'm late to the party, just read day one, and have to say I'm very wary of aza's claim. Why wasn't he killed last night if he was a town player? Doesn't make sense to me. And no, I won't buy the scum targeted someone else in case he protected himself line, you never get to kill the doc that way, you try the first night and if they don't die then you try again since generally they can't protect themselves 2 nights in a row, that is scum 101 and the players here are smart enough to know it.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

There was no stand out lynch target. Aza appeared to be as good as any and a slightly better bet than DP. However my judgement is based on trusting my read on charlou.

AZA No ! I voted DP because I've seen him coast for a day or two when scum before . Check the history .

I see DP can't resist the scumcrack. Outed special with no counterclaim. Don't waste a NK straight away see if you can WIFOM town into killing them for you, scum 303

charlou followed me on to aza despite an earlier indication of suspicion towards me, that didn't ping for you?Magicziggy wrote:There was no stand out lynch target. Aza appeared to be as good as any and a slightly better bet than DP. However my judgement is based on trusting my read on charlou.

Your claim was a desperation move and reeks of it, my only advice to our doc is keep your head down, aza had nothing to lose yesterday by claiming, he was dead otherwise. Claiming a major role encourages a counterclaim and bags a town special. I'm just surprised you didn't claim seer.Azathoth wrote:I see DP can't resist the scumcrack. ok, this is interesting.
DP, it's a bold move to lynch vote a claimed special. It goes without saying that given the circumstances, there is a possibility he is lying, but at the same time - without evidence to show he's lying, lynching him doesn't seem like the best idea because of the possibility that he is telling the truth.

FOS that voting to lynch a claimed special shit big time.
Re: Tarot III Mafiia: Day 2 - That Which Is
Lynch voting an uncontested special is more than bold .I'm inclined to think that Aza is the Doc until any evidence to the contrary shows up .

In light of what DP has said, I retract.Athene wrote:What do people make of the bolded bit here?Magicziggy wrote:Well I think charlou and I did what we could under the circumstances. There was no clear scum target. She made the call. I followed. Zigmen seemed a good choice.

I followed her. I didn't see who she followed. I had expressed earlier a willingness to lynch aza based on lack of a better target. I really saw no one as scummy. Aza clearly looks scummy in the cold light of day. A last minute special claim. Uncontested as it happens. Dp's call on that looks valid. I agree with leaving aza for today. And DP. I then have to look at the rest.
