If I gave a reason other than to get people talking it would be bullshit.
People are scared to make off the bat votes and posts and potentially to get people talking about them.
But that is exactly what this game needs.

Stating the reason to mayor vote rather defeats the purpose though.Gonzo wrote:Not true. There are plenty of good reasons to mayor vote someone, you gave none. Not very helpful of you.Magicziggy wrote:At the start of the game there is no reason to vote.

I voted to get people talking. Part of that was to vote without reason so people can ask questions.
You on the other hand voted to lynch ksen without reason. However, I could make and educated guess as to why that was.
I'd still like to hear it from you though.
Re: Tarot III Mafia: The Fool's Journey Begins
I am suspicious of Zigmen's mayor vote for UT and the way UT did a drive-by FOS.

Actually, I think Amok's making the bigger deal about it ... and Athene has pretty much rode through day one on it. Still, interested to know what you make of it, MZ.charlou wrote:I'm not sure who's been making the bigger deal about this .. Amok or Athene. MZ, what do you make of it?amok wrote:Hm. No, still not getting it. I made a mention of thinking the odds were against DP being Scum again, but also didn't act on that, because it lacked logic. It's not like there are a gazillion posts on this thread, to confuse issues and posts.

Gonzo, Zigmen, like to hear your thoughts on it too.

It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

Amok has a tendency to over analyse. And to good effect as town. Her bad logic on DP stood out for me, but Athene had it covered. Not sure why it is still a point of discussion. Matt also has brought this up. It's simply bad logic and move on.charlou wrote:I'm not sure who's been making the bigger deal about this .. Amok or Athene. MZ, what do you make of it?amok wrote:Hm. There's also the chance that you're both town .. in which case would be good if you both start scum hunting, don't you think?amok wrote:Ha! If I die, keep that in mind.charlou wrote:I'm not sure who's been making the bigger deal about this .. Amok or Athene. MZ, what do you make of it?

Amok's mayor vote keeps drawing y attention.
Then again, Gonzo's attention on my mayor vote seems a bit flaily, clutching at straws kind of thing.
Gonna mull this all over a bit.

Because I wanted to see how he would react to my vote on ksen, after he mayor voted him without reason. As you see, he FOSed the shit out of me.charlou wrote:That was to Gonzo.charlou wrote:The timing stood out on a reread, but I can buy that it was a 'checking in' style post. Curious that you didn't comment on MZ's vote post until much later in the day, though.
Why didn't you comment on MZ's vote post until much later in the day, Gonzo?

Fair enough. And I will also draw back. I'm still slightly suspicious of Athene, but that's only because I don't understand where she's coming from (and that's only because I know I'm Town, so round and round we go and all that.Magicziggy wrote:Amok has a tendency to over analyse. Don't mull too long. You have picked out things that others have barely noticed. Surely you have opinions about other things.Zigmen wrote:Amok's mayor vote keeps drawing y attention.

WHat about Ani's cameo.
Matts one post of substance
UTs almost invisibility
Aza and DPs absence
Athene vs Amok.
Me, Charlou trying to stir things up - at least that's what I think I've been doing.
Re: Tarot III Mafia: The Fool's Journey Begins
When it was made, it didn't stand out because I saw it as MZ continuing to generate discussion and getting his thoughts out there. So far I'm getting a pro-town vibe from him. What do you think?charlou wrote:Athene, what do you think about that post of MZ's that I just quoted? Amok, your thoughts, too.
Re: Tarot III Mafia: The Fool's Journey Begins
I'm watching Athene because although she hasn't been pressing the point, just responding to you, she's done little else so far. Your defensive reaction to her will also be kept in my mind.amok wrote:Fair enough. And I will also draw back.
