Holy fucking shit

Dat's cool :{D
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I think RDR is pretty cool and peasy to get into.

Don't have much time for playing games at the moment, so I've just been hopping in and out of Team Fortress 2 when I get time, or sharpening my skills at the fighting game trio (Super Street Fighter 4, Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Mortal Kombat 9)

I gave it a second go and ploughed on until I did a few missions in Mexico, and then I went back to The Saboteur. I just can't immerse myself into the story and gameplay enough.

Right now I'm doing the single player of Assassins Creed: Brotherhood with the expansion pack.

Well I think RDR is awesome :hmph:
I love all the little touches and references. I think the gameplay is fine. Lots of baddies dropping like flies when I'm around.
I might play some online later and ride out with a posse.

I've been playing Perfect World (a free mmo) all day, and have got a character from level 2 to level 18. I feel like I've accomplished so much - but I haven't.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

LA Noir. Early missions are of course very simple, but the concept is quite nice. The faces creep me out a little sometimes though.

i just completed the good guy version of Infamous 2, it was very slick. I enjoyed the first but this sequel was really ramped up a notch, and i love having a whole city to explore from the roof tops to the ground.
Now i am doing it as the bad guy so lots of civilians are getting fried

it is a SOLID game.

After the disappointment of the console versions of Battlefield 3, which is seriously making me think of cancelling my pre-order, at least I can get stoked for one game, next week, which PC won't be getting.

After 3 goes a few things on Battlefield.

Likes.

The sound is the first thing that hits you. It's awesome.
Like Killzone you can't just knick people with your knife, melee triggers an animation which leaves you vunerable while snatch those dog tags.

Dislikes.

Although I always knew the graphics wouldn't be as good on console I wasn't expecting this far off either. The graphics make it special. EA lied about the difference.
It takes forever to respawn.
It takes forever to level up.
Pacing is too slow.

Gripes.

I don't see why console players can't have Casapian Border to try out some vehicles.

That is all for now.

Finishing up Prince of Persia The Two Thrones before I pop in my Ico/SotC set. Replaying the PoP trilogy, I find each title gets progressively worse, though there are some cool aspects unique to each game. I was stuck on Two Thrones for a while, had to put it down because I was getting angry. There was this boss battle I couldn't get past. The Prince is up against two big armored dudes with huge weapons in this small circular arena ringed with fire. You're meant to attack one of them. Enough hits to this one, and the other will strike but get his axe stuck in the ground. While he's disabled, you attack him, while trying to avoid the first dude (with the enormous sword with the very long reach). It's maddening because all of The Prince's usual tricks, like slowing down time, are virtually worthless here. Plus somehow he's lost his sword. Plus blocking doesn't work. Plus getting hit from either of these two goons (and there's no way to avoid being hit) drops your health down very quickly, ensuring you'll die right soon. And when the game reloads after you die, even after the hundredth time, there's no way to skip past the annoying lead-in scene. Plus the Prince is retarded and doesn't respond the way you want him to, since there are two enemies in close proximity, and the game's A.I. gets confused as hell. I'll try to roll away from an enemy, for instance, and yet the Prince inexplicably rolls toward the enemy. Or, I'll be facing an enemy and will move the control stick toward that enemy to strike. But the Prince is closer to the other enemy, behind him, and so will fucking turn around and strike that enemy instead, accomplishing nothing (because you're meant to focus on the other guy). Plus, if you get too close to the edge of the arena, the camera will suddenly change views, leaving you completely disoriented and not knowing where the fuck you are or which way to move, while the enemies of course operate under no such burden.
Anyway, finally got past that. Not through skill, mind you. But just through endless repetition and blind luck.
I think I'm at the boss battle now. I'm up against the transformed Vizier. He's really stupid looking. But, if I recall, a real cunt to beat.

I've been getting into Assassin's Creed Brotherhood after being utterly blown away by Assassin's Creed 2. (Fuck new games btw. I got a deal in Gamestation 2 for £20. I'd rather wait a couple of months and get 4 games for the same price as one of them would be a couple of months before.) Anyway Assassin's Creed Brotherhood hits all my buttons so far except the one that surprisingly matters least in a game where you are an assassin and that's the fighting. I wish someone had said a long time ago.... "Hey Audley you like Tomb Raider and Tenchu, chick this bitch out."

Waiting for Arkham City and gears 3, but I'll wait a few weeks. Rather a rich noob than a broke epeener.
