huh? Where in that did I blame anyone for anything? Did I say "This is your fault? How dare you ask questions?" No, I don't believe I did.
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

Like I said, they're not your nits, so I "shouldn't get all upset about it." It's a "comedy." The first you merely implied; the second, you actually said.

No, ma'am, it is not a comedy. Not from over here anyway.

I thought the random derails and other funny stuff the regulars are posting are funny and comedic.

I didn't. Most of it was at best mean-spirited, if not outright insulting.

We already did this. Blaming the victim. Fourth time.
Sometimes blaming the victim is appropriate sometimes not.

It does tend to discourage a victim mentality. Now admit that you nitpicking and move on. Or make no such admission and move on. Or stay stuck.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Then it was written wrong, and you need to admit that, correct it, and move on instead of participating in a gang rape.
The source/reason for that reminder seems to have been clear to everyone but you, despite the above having been previously stated.

My response was quite clear. I have no problem with avoiding things like "jackbooted thug," or with being criticized for them. That was stated on this thread.

Sorry you're having trouble finding it. Maybe you shouldn't have engaged in a gangfuck. The thread would be much shorter. Sorry you're hoist upon your own petard. It's quite embarrassing to watch, I assure you- I derive no pleasure at all from it, and that is not sarcasm. It is a simple statement of fact.

ETA: And in case you doubt me: you would be much easier to deal with if you didn't have to admit you fucked up for this to get fixed. I'd really rather you hadn't; I wouldn't be here now.

If a person truly desires to be a victim, a victimizer can be found or manufactured.

Ain't victimhood a grand place to argue from?

Sometimes blaming the victim is appropriate sometimes not.

It does tend to discourage a victim mentality.
It also discourages pointing out problems and asking inconvenient questions. Good job.

Of course, discouraging inconvenient questions isn't anti-intellectual.

Blaming the victim.

And changing the subject.

Are you a victim on most of the fora you frequent?

Since you expect us to change the subject all the time...
Squid, Tommy and I went to a tea shop today and had lovely tea and Middle Eastern Food. It was very nom and I am half in a food coma, half hyped up on tea.
