Zigmen, what is a Jerome vote and what is the correct response? I haven't been initiated.

Jerome's scum sniffing has seemed to improve, but seemingly only since his wife started looking over his shoulder and giving him hints.

And with no evidence of that happening in this game, I'll let Jerome answer you in his own words.

It is not unheard of for Jerome to vote for outed specials, players who have been viewed as Town, etc.

At TR, we shrug it off, generally.

I'll admit he's getting better, lately, though.

Cuz Scum could have just voted me to save Gonzo if they wanted to (and vice versa).

Nope. There was no bus. There were 2 Townies tied for the lynch, and Scum got complacent. The late switch to Ksen seems to have been a Town move, cuz why would Scum expose them selves with late-vote-switching?

Sure, you could argue remote possibilities about what happened, and there's a chance you'd be right, but I think the simplest explanation was that Gonzo was Town, Scum was kicking back (Ksen never even voted), and a few intrepid Townies did some ballsy playing and nailed a Scum.

Ok, I tend to agree with your synopsis. I have said as much, except I still found gonzo to be scummy. I also had mantis and dp on my possible scum list and Jerome as a wildcard. Do we lynch Jerome today and remove the uncertainty?

Also, you have UT on you scum list. I'm surprised. And irre has UT top of her town list. I think UT is town for now fwiw.

If jerome is indeed scum why would he choose irre? He probably would have had better chances trying to get a bw agains gonzo or zigmen. If he is town, it doesn't explain his lynch vote on irre either.

Irre was instrumental in the Ksen lynch, so i think she's Town. Enough so that I will look elsewhere for now.

And to be fair, my scum list isn't a list of players who look scummy, it's a list of players who aren't probably cleared by yesterday's actions.

Jerome is Jerome. His votes are seemingly outlandish at times, be he Town or Scum.

So I've long given up on trying to figure him out by his votes.

And I've also come up with a somewhat rational lens to view his actions through: He seems to be more concerned with the reactions he gets to his votes than the actual impact of his votes. FWIW, I've found that I can sometimes gauge others' alignments by watching them react to Jerome's play.

At TR, his oddness is often taken with a grain of salt. Here, he is an unknown quantity, so it's tough to assess reactions easily.

He is by no means cleared, but I'm also not particularly threatened by him atm.

5. MagicZiggy - Avoiding my mass claim question today, still thinking Gonzo is Scummy while agreeing with my reasoning why he isn't, and fretting over Jerome's vote for way too long.

9. dp - Sparse play yesterday, and without impact; complacent.

6. Mantisdreamz - Not cleared by yesterday's voting.

12. Jerome - Not cleared by yesterday's voting, but somewhat cleared by MZ's preoccupation.

LOL zigmen, what a shame I can only vote one person a day. That is a scum trifecta in your post. How on earth is Jerome somewhat cleared as a result of your suspicion of MZ? Why are you pushing so hard for a mass claim? Why do you so conveniently have mantis in your list, when she's hardly been around this game? Do you really think DP as scum would flip flop around voting me yesterday?

I think you and Jerome are the remaining scum this game. I think you told Jerome to throw a vote at me, in the hope that people would think he was the seer and had viewed me (I of course am not going to buy this as I know I'm town), but most importantly he wanted the seer to out. You on the other hand want ALL the specials to out.

Seer: hold your nerve. My behaviour yesterday shows my town creds. Plus, I suspect you really did view me.
