I think the timid one has been passing some bad info. We should ban him for a few days so we can get some really good trash on him.

What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Rule 42 is not written anywhere, it just is.

It's our only self-referential rule!

All rules are self-referential. If they weren't, how would we know about them?
Oh and welcome. Quite the entrance.

Did I say welcome already? Yes, I did, but in another thread. So welcome properly now.
BTW & FYI, this thread is quite representative of RatZ, IME. Sometimes one needs a dictionary to figure out which obscure third or fourth meaning of a word is being utilized for a pun, and at other times one needs
http://www.urbandictionary.com/ rather urgently. And then there are those times when it's best not to try to make sense of a post at all...

"The internet is made of people. People matter. This includes you. Stop trying to sell everything about yourself to everyone. Don’t just hammer away and repeat and talk at people—talk TO people. It’s organic. Make stuff for the internet that matters to you, even if it seems stupid. Do it because it’s good and feels important. Put up more cat pictures. Make more songs. Show your doodles. Give things away and take things that are free." -
