I didn't want to make a new thread just for this, so I put it here. Check this out. A biblically-inspired game. I know, I know. I rolled my eyes too at first. But then I watched the trailer. It actually looks pretty cool. And what the hell, fiction is fiction, so why not?

Here's an older trailer. The game is beautiful! And a Christian fable made by Japs no less :hehe:

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Just played the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine demo. It was quite enjoyable. The graphics are a little peeled back in preference of having hoardes of bad guys to shoot and hack your way through. The enemies are aggressive and can swamp you fairly handy if you fail to use your weapons and explosives effectively to break up and divide the swaths of enemies before they get near. The controls are nice and I haven't seen any problems with the camera angle usually associated with the third person perspective.
I can't shake the nagging feeling that all this will get old very quick, though. I would hope there is plenty of variation in the enemies to keep it interesting than just the Orcs I saw. I have seen an issue of White Dwarf so I know that there is a multitude of species in the Warhammer series though I can't remember them.

I'm playing "Baja, Edge of Control", an offroad racing game. Not as easy as it first appears to be, you really have to be on your best to win a race let alone a championships and there are lots of championships to compete in, I like it. The game itself is pretty old, but it is one of the few offroad racing games that are not another rally racing game.

I played Prince of Persia The SAnds of Time, and PoP Warrior Within. Both fucking kick-ass games. Then I started on PoP The Two Thrones and...I dunno. I just suddenly lost interest

I've been playing Amnesia the last couple days. Bought/downloaded it in Feb but couldn't play because my computer had an Integrated graphics card. I ordered a new one my computer's power supply could handle and put it in yesterday. Other games look better, too.

I've been playing that new game Catherine. VERY strange and interesting. Quite difficult. Very excited for Dark Souls (I've played Demons' Souls) and Battlefield 3.

I thought you were joking, but it turns out Catherine is really a game. And looks like a unique experience. Cool

Just got Child od Eden for the 360 and gave it a quick blast. Very Rez-like, I think I may sacrifice a good portion of my life to this one :D

Catherine does look very interesting indeed, at least it looks very original from the YT clips I've seen.

Just picked up Red Dead Redemption at a bargain. It had better be good.

I didn't like it very much. Nice eyecandy, crappy gameplay imho.

I didn't care much for it. I admit I didn't give it much of a chance. But still. I didn't like it.

I thought RDR was crap at first but I picked it up again and actually got really into it. It get's better as you go along.

I've been playing Deus Ex:Human Revolution since Friday and loving it so far. Few niggly criticisms so far but over all it's exactly what I was hoping for.
