r.c on the writeboard ..
r.c was THE best scum player for the busdriver role, methinks.
hayeah ... nice move.I’m trying to keep amok alive. The two of us are not in her scum radar as of now. So,if she does perform a night kill it will help us. And when she finally does have an FOS on one of us, we can always bus the one she has an FOS on with an other townie and then kill her the next night. So essentially we will be performing two NKs.

Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 7
He busdrove every night, but the only night it impacted the game was the night he busdrove charlou and higgs.
If I use a scum busdriver role again in the future I will probably weigh it more heavily than a town busdriver role for the balance calculation.

Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 7
It was pretty funny watching the remaining townies milling around wondering what the hell happened. Did feel a tad sorry for amok though.
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 7
I also want to ask for feedback about the town win condition. I usually use this win condition in most of my games, whether there is an indie in the game or not. I don't think a win condition should help back up an indie's claim to be town compatible, or even to guarantee that there is an indie in the game.
I was surprised how much weight you guys put on the wording of the win condition in deciding whether to trust Amok.

Stargate SG1 - Day 7
Thanks ob, great game, great dramaz and three players facing off on the final day...what more could we ask for?!
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 7
I went back and checked some of your previous games, in the elf quest and darkover games which had an sk with a last man standing win condition, the town win condition was to eliminate all threats. In the mythadventures game which had an indie survivor - no town win condition was given - at least not in the sample vanilla town PM given in the pg.
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 7
You're right, in the Mythadventures game I made the win condition ambiguous. It was a sort of experiment.
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 7
An indie who can choose to align with whoever they like (and change that from moment to moment/day to day, depending on who of town and scum is looking good) is a threat from the perspective that the indie has their own win condition in mind.
BUT ... had town won and the indie, who was supposedly a threat, was still in play ... What then?
For example, a town eliminating all threats scenario .. had it got down to two town and SK amok (as distinct from two town and one scum) would that have been end game? Or even one town and amok?
So, yeah .... the wording of the town win condition isn't ideal in this context.

Wait ... ob ... if it was down to diva, amok and me (for example) .. would you have said town win and amok wins with town as per her win condition ... or would town have had to play on to get rid of the final threat to town, the SK?charlou wrote:An indie who can choose to align with whoever they like (and change that from moment to moment/day to day, depending on who of town and scum is looking good) is a threat from the perspective that the indie has their own win condition in mind.
