I think higgs may be scum, and that one or both of zigmen and ksen is the other threat that town needs to eliminate.

If we lynch amok, would we learn what her win condition was upon her cardflip?
More then likely.
If so, do you think that information may be useful wrt learning whether she's the threat, apart from scum, we need to eliminate? Because, if it turns out she isn't, then it's reasonable to assume that the other threat is among the 'masons'?

I'm okay with switching my vote to amok if there's consensus that this will be more useful for town.

I'm with Town.

I will understand a lynch vote on me if it happens, and it might still allow a Town win (people better with numbers than I am, now's the time to work that out), but I'm glad I had this last day. I really thought I fucked up the game by outing (people were angry and I got the impression players were going to stop caring and playing), but I don't feel that way anymore. This day has been good for what I like about Mafia - the thinking and figuring stuff out - no matter who wins or loses.

I also know what will be revealed after the game, so I'm not hand-wringing about that. I'm in a good place, right now. Other than figuring out a night kill, if I don't get lynched, but that's another matter altogether.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

No. I am not.

I think that is taking out an indie who so far has played town friendly and distracts from a scum lynch.

Has anyone compiled a list of character claims?

Reading back now.

If ksen and zigmen are indeed scum, we can lynch one of them tomorrow and still win. I would suggest that we go after someone else today.
To me it is between athene and higgs.
##vote athene##
If this vote goes through, and athene flips Scum, who do you think I should kill? If she flips Town, who do you think I should kill? Thanks. This isn't in stone, but I can make my own tally, and update it as we go along if people change their minds.
Amok, I trust your claim that you are town aligned sk. But, I feel pre deciding NK would be a vital piece of information for scum, which might allow them to plan their NK accordingly. I'm not sure whether it would be a good idea to tell you who to kill.

I opened the PM but didn't read it, btw.
Why would you open it, but not read it?
Not all PMs I get are game related. I get IMs and PMs from players I'm in games with on occasion.

All i saw in Bili's PM was a quote from this game, which I assume he commented on. I didn't scroll down. I immediately closed the PM.

As ksen pointed out after someone mentioned oblivion often saves a couple of good safe claim names, you have very prominent character claims ... I've already noted how quick you were to try to salvage cred after that post of ksen's: http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 19#p951819
Yeah, good safe claims. Not great ones. Captain Kirk would not be a safe claim in Star Trek.

Mine and Ksen's characters are major-league foundational characters.

I can go with a scum lynch too (of course!), but my concerns about the masons aside, I'm uncertain about who is scum. Among the remaining players, higgs had made the biggest scum impression on me when I was reading the first couple of days ... but her posts yesterday and today so far are more neutral.

Even if one/both of the masons are one of the threats, it's the night actions of scum and the SK we need to be concerned about.

Athene's lack of input when questioned about higgs bothers me as I'd considered her gameplay to be more astute than that. FOS on that.

Which means we are trusting in the judgement of a serial killer to help town win.

Amok, if we pop any Scum today, would you then think it safe to assume that neither Ksen nor I could be Scum?

That would mean there are currently 3 living Scum. That's impossible by any stretch of game balance.
