however, diva, - i don't like that you brought up hammer votes and the 3rd lynchers on bw's. it almost seemed like you were going out of your way to start a case

at the moment it's a shizz lynch, and that's frustrating, because FF is not being discriminatory in his voting at all, and DP put down a completely contradictory vote/rationale.

What most bothered me was diva's attempt to steer the BW from b.tern on the grounds that aza's shizz vote was scummy. I'm not getting past that at the moment. Plus, the NK of nightson seems to have her signature on it.Mantisdreamz wrote:however, diva, - i don't like that you brought up hammer votes and the 3rd lynchers on bw's. it almost seemed like you were going out of your way to start a case

i'm also curious about Zigmen's vote on amok, and then switching his vote onto DP after hearing amok's suggestion of him being scummy

Yes, he's been all over the place. He was third on my BW yesterday. That's an exposed place to be, which is why b.tern couldn't bring herself to put the hammer vote on me. So that, plus his aza focus which is now his bili focus, has me leaning townish on him.Mantisdreamz wrote:it seems to.irretating wrote:What most bothered me was diva's attempt to steer the BW from b.tern on the grounds that aza's shizz vote was scummy. Yes, but I'll be asleep for the last 6 or so hours of the day, so I'm worried I'll wake up to find that a shizz BW was pushed through and lo and behold he was town.Mantisdreamz wrote:there's still 12 hours thoughirretating wrote:at the moment it's a shizz lynch, and that's frustrating, because FF is not being discriminatory in his voting at all, and DP put down a completely contradictory vote/rationale.

Re: Stargate SG1 Mafia - Day 2
i just read over this day's thread, and was about to unvote Zigmen. he is looking more townish. he made a point about Aza saying that random votes with no reason are 'bullshit'... which in reality, i'm sure i've seen aza do that before. so Zigmen does have a point with him... but besides that, i still think b.ternarius's following of aza puts him in a more townish lightirretating wrote:Mantisdreamz wrote:it seems to.irretating wrote:What most bothered me was diva's attempt to steer the BW from b.tern on the grounds that aza's shizz vote was scummy. I was not trying to "steer" the bandwagon off of b. ternarius. When have I ever done that as scum? My question to you was about why you thought B. tern's vote on Matt was scummy as opposed to Aza's was to learn more about your reasoning than about Aza. I had my suspicion's about him yesterday but they were small in comparison to the people who so readily agreed with him. You are reading into shit that isn't even there.
You have continuously misrepresented my game and my posts. It has royally pissed me the fuck off. There is no point in playing when someone LIES about you and will refuse to accept any accountability when the game is over. Highly doubtful you will admit to an error in judgment, but instead will try to pawn it off on my "shitty playing". Fuck that shit. You can't read me and it bugs the shit out of you so you will scream "diva is scum", in every fucking game in hopes that people will remember THAT instead of the times that you have mislynched me.
I never tried to start a bandwagon on DP, that is a fucking lie, I said I could not read him.
I wasn't wifoming you all over the place. Jesus Christ, learn to FUCKING READ!
Bilirubin was the first one to point out that there were weird reasonings for lynch voting you. I was the second. Read the fucking day one thread, this time without your fucking blinders on.
Your reasoning for Nightson holds no water, as Nightson did not think that I was scum, and what fucking special tells was he dropping that I so carefully picked up? His starter vote on me was to see who would jump on. His last day question to me I believe was a genuine inquiry that I tried to answer but ran out of time.
I love the Mean Girls shit that is going on here. LOVE IT!!1!!1!!
Here Irre, so you have no worries about Matt's bandwagon developing steam:

Scum here is your chance to hop on it because it will be lost in the raving idiocy that is town!

Sorry, Bili, I have zero idea what to do when someone lies about what I have posted and when someone else who should really know better, buys it.

It was to explain to Amok, another player's reasoning. He was using terms that she didn't know.Mantisdreamz wrote:however, diva, - i don't like that you brought up hammer votes and the 3rd lynchers on bw's. it almost seemed like you were going out of your way to start a case
If I was starting a case on Irre, I would not have to look far, as she has misrepresented what I have posted.
I am useless to town at any rate, I am too pissed to even think straight.

I'm still finding zigmen and bili suspicious.
Zigmen for following onto Irre yesterday and then not throwing a fit when I voted him.
Bili for letting me get away with that mistake about Higgs being first on Irre.

eta: I also think Matt is playing a much more controlled game and that usually fits in with him being scum.

Stargate SG1 Mafia - Day 2
Diva, you are beyond exhausting sometimes. Is mafia. Is game. You know?
You don't behave this way on TR. The melodrama isn't helpful for your game. Just sayin'. Bili slapped me around, a few games back on here, and I have a much more zen perspective. If you think screaming and gnashing and making out I've somehow got it in for you, personally, is how you enjoy your mafia and it's all pure gameplay, that's all well and good. If not...
I'm shattered from two nights of no sleep so I'm going to bed early. My thoughts about alternate BWs and voting for someone like gonzo who pinged me and now has disappeared, will have to wait.
Diva, I'm one player with one (and in this game now, an extra half) vote. If someone gets lynched it's the will of a collection of people. Take a chill pill.

Irre, you are beyond hypocritical sometimes. Yanno?irretating wrote:Diva, you are beyond exhausting sometimes. Is mafia. Is game. You know?
Paraphrasing Irre:The melodrama isn't helpful for your game. Just sayin'.
"I am going to just retire from Mafia and only GM games!"

"Just gawdkill me!"

And other shit that I cannot be arsed enough to look up.
I had other stuff typed out, but you know what? I am just going to ignore you.
I might not be around for the end of the day round. Here are my thoughts.
Dorothy is stirring the pot, but not contributing anything.
Gonzo has gone awol. I am still pretty sus of him.
Something is a bit off about Amok. I can't put my finger on it.
DP's trying to play both sides of my coin flip makes it sound like he knows that I will flip town, but is following along on the apparent bw. This worries me the most.
I had some concerns about Zigmen's vote on Aza. It didn't make sense. He should have realised that b. tern tries not to interact with her scummates. But I am wondering if he is just having a hard time keeping track of who she is. Or was.
I get a strong indie vibe from Bilirubin.
Athene is MIA. She is also on vacation and should be back tomorrow.
R.c. has hardly contributed.
I would like to see more from Praying. She normally has good instincts but I also know that this is a different site and that can throw one's game off.
In my town pile are Aza, Irre, Ksen, Mantis and Feck.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

She was looking a little too calm and collected last night(my time) for her to be town, yesterday, her interaction with gonzo looked forced, her posts today fit with her town flail/drama though.Mantisdreamz wrote:this post DP - looks strange. I need more than a day or two of posts and actions before I can make decisions I consider sensible. I usually vote anyway, because I learned Mafia on a site where there's a penalty for not voting, but also because I think it's a bit of a cop out not to vote for anything other than a real-life reason.Bilirubin wrote:Would you say you're confused?amok wrote:What's worse? Reading the thread and not posting anything because you feel you don't have anything of substance to offer yet, or posting stuff that seems too obvious to even mention? It's a dilemma, because my thoughts right now are just that it would be mind-boggling if both Irre and Mantis were Scum. There were other prospects with two votes on them (including me) at a point where a bandwagon wouldn't have been too suspicious, I think. I'm also going to look again at why I had a bad feeling about DP. It was mostly the inconsistancy of his statements. That's enough for a first day vote, but it's not good enough for the second day.
This meta stuff sounds like so much woo to me, in the first few days at least. Sounds like lots of citing, with lots affirmation when a guess is right, and lots of self-exculpation when it's wrong.
As an aside, I seriously don't understand this post:
You had Nightson as town until late in the day? Nightson only made five posts, which included lynching Diva, Feck and Btern. I think this just shows that people given Special roles are in as much in a muddle as everyone else at first, until they can start using their powers and aligning with others.Bilibrubin wrote:
After a reread of day one I am leaning town on irre, diva, FF, ksen, feck. Shizz looks like he's a pawn of scum, but I know we used him in the same manner as scum mates in the Road Warrior game, with great effect, but leaning town for now. Nightson I had as town until late in the day, when he started looking followy. What does the flavour say about the mode of death?
Leaning scum on zigman, higgs, DP.
Not enough data on Az (townish I guess), praying, gonzo (thought scummy early but then fell off radar), r.c. (did they ever post day one?), and me.

Now to read today again and add to the growing database.
