Srsly? You don't rely on other players to get a read on the players you might be trolleytracking on? FOS the fuck out of this.Gonzo wrote:Srsly? And nice deflection, Gonzo...are you going to offer any insight as to why you would self-mayor vote in one game, but use it as reason to lynch vote someone in another?

Deep breaths diva. Going off doesn't help town.
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
I think it would help more if you'd clarify what you meant rather than answer sarcastically. I don't buy that you need irre to read Dp for you, it sounds like an excuse.divagreen wrote:Srsly? Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
That's meta, but sure. When I self voted in a previous game as town I was aware that it was a scumtell, but if it succeeded it was a calculated risk to help the town. Irre knew when she self-voted it would bring her attention, but she also knows she could easilly get away with it if she is scum given that she is a really smart player.divagreen wrote:And nice deflection, Gonzo...are you going to offer any insight as to why you would self-mayor vote in one game, but use it as reason to lynch vote someone in another?

Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
I have a list of players that I have a hard time reading. eWhat screams scum to me does not necessarily scream scum to them, as they have played with that person more than I have. For example: Zigmen. When Zigmen is scum he looks town to me, when he is town he looks like scum to me. Athene has a good grasp of Zigmen's town game and his scum game. I have seen her nail him as scum for things I would not have picked up. I think I am learning to pick up the differences between the a little bit better, but If I think Athene is town then I take her read on him into consideration and will look at other players.Gonzo wrote:I think it would help more if you'd clarify what you meant rather than answer sarcastically. If DP does something abjectedly scummy then I will go with that; right now he isn't. Irre has a bit more experience playing with him than I do, so if I can get a feeling of trust with Irre then I will take what she says into consideration. Feck has played with DP a good deal and I am taking that into consideration as well. He is providing some good observations about other players, IMO, that kind of mirror my own. It is how town works together. And I should not have to explain this to you, Gonzo. That is why you are my number one suspect for scum right now.

Easily get away with it? I don't think so. She would be accountable for her votes and actions.Gonzo wrote:That's meta, but sure. Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
You're still excusing yourself from having to take responsibilty for reading DP and becoming dependant on irre. That's actually anti-town play, too. You're clearing yourself to follow irre's lead AND you're opening yourself up to vote for or against DP depending on her go ahead.divagreen wrote:I have a list of players that I have a hard time reading. eWhat screams scum to me does not necessarily scream scum to them, as they have played with that person more than I have. Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
I've got a vote on DP, because I think his interaction with feck was contrived. Diva has not followed my vote. She has also poured in a bucket of WIFOM that I should be mayor so that I can be viewed but then I could well be don. All rather distracting day 1 stuff, no?

Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
I'm also thinking some if not all of the gonzo diva interaction is scum theatre.
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
Hers votes might be accountable but they won't necessarilly be accounted for. A self-vote is a scumtell, if she was accounted for her vote more people vote to lynch her. Like I said it's a calculated rick to take as town or scum. I think irre could go either way and play the part well.divagreen wrote:Easily get away with it? I don't think so. Hey bili, wy didn't you call me out on that bad vote?
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
I think trying to keep townies from finding each other and forming a voting bloc is the anti-town behavior.Gonzo wrote:That's actually anti-town play, too. You're clearing yourself to follow irre's lead AND you're opening yourself up to vote for or against DP depending on her go ahead.
fos this.
Re: Stargate SG1 - Day 1
Is scum diva likely to do that? She didn't seem to be that way when we were scum together over at the TR Centennial game.irretating wrote:I'm also thinking some if not all of the gonzo diva interaction is scum theatre.
