Yeah, there is that. I find it hard to believe that he just accepted aza's claim outright. Logic would dictate he'd view contra, given contra admitted to not being invited to the party.amok wrote:I'm a bit head-scratchy about his choice to view RC last night.irretating wrote:I'm not seeing the case on contra, and I like his choice of block target.
Is it just me or is zigmen's claim squiffy? char and ut were investigators. Zigmen is claiming seer?

I'm on a short break at work between appts.amok wrote:I'm a bit head-scratchy about his choice to view RC last night.irretating wrote:I'm not seeing the case on contra, and I like his choice of block target.

Let me make this perfectly clear:
N1 I viewed Gib because that's what a good Seer is supposed to do.
N2 I pondered at great length who to view. Raven and Contra seemed good place to focus, but that's where nearly everyone was focussing. My best guess was that they would both be dead pretty quickly.
Views of players who are dead at endgame are useless.
So I asked myself, who is below the radar, not attracting attention, and doesn't have a strong job claim?
There were a few ways to go, but RC popped into my head and i went with it.
And in answer to an earlier question, yes i get views of alignments, and nothing else. Hence my earlier question about the difference between alignments and ALIGNMENTS. My two view PMs were different in that one used all caps and the other didn't. Gonzo says this was unintentional and has no bearing.
I'll be avaialable for about 20+ minutes, then back to work.

I'm really not certain about Linus's BW, honestly. I don't like it. We discussed yesterday that if diva had flipped scum we would lynch Linus. diva flipped town.
What changed that exactly? I think yesterday's night chat mass claim fiasco threw our focus off a little.
At the same time circumstances surrounding Ob have changed so she's not looking as bad either but why Linus besides the Day 1 stuff?

day 2 stuff. special-hunting, and what appears to be tactical periods of silence over day 2/weekend.Contrapposto wrote:I'm really not certain about Linus's BW, honestly. I don't like it. We discussed yesterday that if diva had flipped scum we would lynch Linus. diva flipped town.

Right because getting everyone to jump off a cliff like lemmings with their role claims...that couldn't be construed as "special hunting", right?oblivion wrote:day 2 stuff. special-hunting, and what appears to be tactical periods of silence over day 2/weekend.Contrapposto wrote:I'm really not certain about Linus's BW, honestly. Only one of the three who started that snowball have been officially cleared and that's gib.
Hmmm...

What do people who are not gib or oblivion make of the fact that diva and I had strong town reads of each other?

I think he's acting scummy. hence my vote. He is also a guest and IMO the most questionable one.Contrapposto wrote:Right because getting everyone to jump off a cliff like lemmings with their role claims...that couldn't be construed as "special hunting", right?oblivion wrote:day 2 stuff. special-hunting, and what appears to be tactical periods of silence over day 2/weekend.Contrapposto wrote:I'm really not certain about Linus's BW, honestly. I find it interesting, but not telling. Diva has exceptionally strong intuition, it's not 100%.Linus wrote:What do people who are not gib or oblivion make of the fact that diva and I had strong town reads of each other?
I'm personally not too comfortable with the Linus bandwagon yet. I'm not going to vote until I've re-read the whole game. I agree with Contra that a major part of the suspicion about Linus was the Diva fiasco (as far as I can remember, anyway).
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

not for me. I had my vote on him most of day 2, from very early.amok wrote:I find it interesting, but not telling. Diva has exceptionally strong intuition, it's not 100%.Linus wrote:What do people who are not gib or oblivion make of the fact that diva and I had strong town reads of each other?

The major part of the suspicion against me is oblivion's claim that I was special hunting. In reality, my questions to oblivion and gib early day 2 were very natural consequences of the thought I reported at the end of d1p22 and it was obviously a test of oblivion and gib. Diva and I were inline with our thoughts about alignment/ALIGNMENT.amok wrote:I find it interesting, but not telling.
