The whole fake seer thing sounds ridiculous to me. It's not possible to provide useful information to town without revealing yourself. It would just be a distraction to town.

Fos Linus, Mattshizzle and Diva.

Why would diva out herself as vanilla after pointing out to Mattshizzle that it's a bad idea to out yourself early?

something off about that interaction now that I read it. He's not one to suck up to me.
Suck up?

You yourself parade the fact that you're lynchproof on Day 1. Remember asking "What the hell am i going to do if I ever draw a Jester role?"

I just wanted to know if you think a Scum would be ballsy enough to try lynching you on Day 1, not whether or not you think I believe you to be some sort of mafia-god.

You've got some swelled head to take it that way.
zigmen the phrase 'You youself' implies to be that you also believe oblivion to be pretty lynchproof day one

yet you lynch voted her, please explain how that works
You know that Raven was, and in some cases still is my mentor. We speak at length about our games.

Yes, it is not possible to lynch her on day 1. There are many reasons for this, but use your imagination to spare from having to spell them out.

But Oblivion has 4 mindsets that she switches between:

1) Curious and helpful/supportive
2) Curious and guarded
3) Know-it-all and helpful/supportive
4) Know-it-all and bitchy/whiny aloof and superior.

Of these, the one you need to watch out for is #3. When i see it, i vote for her because I think she's Scum.

When I see #4, I usually vote for her as well, but more to give her a smack in the head.

These classifications are nearly impossible to define except by gut instinct.

But, it is the best answer to your question I have.
how many times have I been 3 or 4 and scum?

keep in mind that the only scum games I've played in over a year were

jasona's werewolf game - last summer - you were town
Aza's ratz drama game - what? about 6 months ago - you were town
the FF game - which you haven't read afaik

Those may be good descriptions of my mood when I play. I guarantee you've seen all 4 of them when I am town.

I didn't read it that way.

I saw Diva tell Irre that the mass out idea was a poor one, then she outed as vanilla.

But, either way, i see your point.

I'm leaving my vote where it is. Zigmen knows for a fact that he hasn't seen my scum game often enough to pigeonhole it into the categories he's listed.

Aza's pinging for posting a lot without much to say.

Charlou's pinging for being unusually involved in a day 2. if this were TR she'd be pinging for parkiung a cheap vote, too. but it's going to be a while for some of the ratz players to come to grips with shizzle

diva's vote-hopping pings

gib looks like he's scumhunting this time out. I've been wrong about him twice recently. cautiously leaning town this time.

And here's another reason why you can't lynch Oblivion on day 1. Cuz she has better spreadsheets and nobody has the time to read back over a year to point out what they clearly remember. She just did the same thing at TR, but for another reason.

But, in answer to your question, yes, I'm sure you've been in all 4 modes as Town, but your typically #3 when you're Scum.

It's as if there are 4 kinds of dogs in the world. Dog #3 is prone to bite. I would tend to be comfortable around the other dogs, and shy away from Dog #3, only to have you point out that not all Dog #3s are biters.

It may be true, but it won't change my suspicion of Dog #3s.

Xposting RC and Obl.

You need to rethink this. You're making a similar mistake to the one I made recently at TR.

Zigmen, your case for voting me stinks and if you don't know that for a fact it's because you're pulling it out of your ass and hoping that you're right by accident.

There's way more pages for a first day mafia game for Ratz. Already there is twice the amount of the last game's first day and almost one third the posts of the whole of each of the two games before that.
What has changed? Why is this thread full of fluff and harebrained schemes?
