for now. I hope we haven't gone hopelessly astray as town. <<worrysecondguessworry...>>
You totally have, but I won't hold that against you ;)

Once again, I'm amazed at how clear and logical arguments get interpreted as scum moves. Next time I play here as town, I'll be sure not to vote for scum, since it's an obvious scum tell, apparently :fp:
Maybe.

Def, you defend yourself when fos'd, but you're not providing much reason to pick someone else that's scummier.

Voting for scum can indeed be a scumtell if there's already a bw or if scum is playing a bussing game, and depending on when the vote is cast. It's no clear indication of innocence to climb a bw when the results are looking inevitable.
Def was the second player to vote for ksen. There was no bandwagon yet.
I know. But ksen must have known he was doomed as soon as he read his own post. Ksen is a team player. he'd have told his team to put votes on him immediately. That doesn't mean def is scum for sure, of course not, but it by no means clears him.

I'm really flipflopping on who I want to lynch anyway. I'd love to feel convinced.

Sorry, again, you're playing this game far differently than me. As a townie, I should roll over and play dead and not explain your logic flaws? That would be the town move?

I'm tempted to throw all your arguments back at yourself, since you were the one who first voted for Ksen. It's well possible your 'hesitant' vote and theorizing are simply a scum member describing themselves. Something to consider depending on today's vote results.

Tea Party vs Zombie Day 3

Post by Magicziggy » Sun Jul 24, 2011 5:43 am

I've got to agree that def and bt are equally likely/ unlikely to be scum in my view. This is where it breaks down and I end up looking at mantis.

However I'm going to look at the choice of nks. Athene and VoFW. Really unknowns for me. TR? Both experienced by the sounds of it. Yet someone said it looks like inexperienced scum. Bt is the most pro town player. Why is she still alive? Amok as well. VoFW was a really strange choice. Amok, who would you have killed? I would have taken out bt or possibly feck. VoFW would have been out of the question. Unless the tr connection would be a liability. I'm leaning away from def.

if it's not def, and it's not you, then the next on my list to look at would be Feck

Brains? Brains were stolen from you last night? Colour me skeptical, but that sounds a bit odd.
it's true

i'm a little concerned actually, that there's more to this game than just finding the last scum

From night 2

I need some TR regular to fill me in on B.t.
Is she capable of the ploy of setting up and bussing a teammate on Day1?
Then' "accidentally" voting at night, only to have that player, such an obvious lynch target, killed over night.
Remember I'm being panned for not remembering I had an object, and she goes and votes immediately after nightfall.

And why is she so keen to know who has the objects?
How does that benefit town? I'm beginning to wish I'd kept my mouth shut.

In case of severe doubt, fall back on logic.

Scum are usually careful and don't make glaring errors.
Therefore assume ksen was staged and b.t is scum.

I think BT is the Thief and I think Mantis is Scum. I can't decide which one is the most dangerous.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

IMHO 8 vs 2 is weighted in town's favour.
7 vs 3 is weighted in scum's favour.
Given then there is a supposedly pro town thief, that might balance a 3 scum team. A 3 scum team may well have sacrificed one of their own at the start. But what do I know.

Def has been floating around for hours. Reading and not posting. I find that suspicious. This game rests on town getting this one right And he's just waiting in the wings.
