Maybe you should find someone else to be your mentor. I just read the spoiler thread and evidently I'm considered a bit of a shit player. I'd hate to give you some bad habits, maybe ob or someone would be willing to help you.

Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Signups
What I want is the bullshit personal drama to stay out of ratz mafia. If there is someone who really thinks ill of you and was out to malign you personally in a mafia game (as opposed to the much simpler explanation that people are just playing mafia) then I'd be posting and telling them to stop their bullshit.divagreen wrote:Don't know what you are talking about, Irre, I told you that one person was driving me crazy in another game. What exactly what the misrepresentation that was apparently about your IRL character and not just mafia game play (either deliberate scumplay to get you lynched, or townie reads of your game play) ?
I also told you in a PM that maybe this site was not for me.
Do you want to drag that up too?
Re: The Innsmouth Look finale and dramaz
Nice play, Charlou. You had me fooled (e.g. town points for reading through my previous scum games, or pretending to!) and you were never in the bottom half of my town-to-scum list.
Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Signups
You brought this up. If you want personal drama to stay out then maybe you should PM me and air your grievances there instead of in a game. Like you should have several games ago.irretating wrote:What I want is the bullshit personal drama to stay out of ratz mafia. Currently suffers from Cassandra's curse.

I have decided that my reads are backwards on charlou. Next time I get a townie vibe from her I'm going to get some ropeLinus wrote:Nice play, Charlou. Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I did read a post from feck noting that i'd spotted nearly all scum in one early post. It was downhill from thereon but it is my little badge of pride in some otherwise grinding roleplay

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.
