I still wonder if UT is the final scum, tbh. I don't think UT is anywhere as cleared as everyone seems to think.

I'm wondering if b.tern just said that to increase the chances that mantis would protect UT last night thus leaving r.c. unprotected.

No. I'm not that devious. I was under the impression that all of you thought either rc or ksen was the last investigator. Getting rid of him gave town the option of lynching ksen today, if rc was innocent.

I've been saying since yesterday that I don't trust UT's alignment.

Because I did not agree that it was a good idea. I chose to align with town; that doesn't mean I'm not concerned with the best possible outcome for myself. The best possible outcome for me is to be alive at game end. The more scum alive, the more likely scum is to nk me, since no one's going to protect me while there are town players left to protect.

If you think ksen is innocent then he didn't lie about watching charlou visiting UT on night 3, which means that charlou did visit UT on night 3 but for what purpose if UT is scum?

maybe UT turned into an indie after Ob died?

I think UT may have become an investigator after Oblivion died, or at least joined the investigators team. We don't know how much scum knew beforehand, or knows now re UT's status, so charlou's visit is a concern, yes.

The town win condition stipulates 'investigators' which is troublesome because UT going indie makes more sense than becoming an investigator.

I was in such a hurry to get my night move in because of personal time constraints that I now cannot remember which post it was that caused me to pick rc over ksen. I did the author sort for the preceding two days and there was one post that stood out for me, that made ksen look innocent.

ISTM that town should be at parity or better with scum right now, if UT is town and ksen is scum

Nothing in my role suggests even vaguely a 'last man standing' win condition. Just survival to endgame. Town wins, I assume, at parity with scum (investigators). So what is going on?

I'm really having a hard time believing that you're not telling the truth actually.

i'm left with the sense that UT could have possibly been throwing up all sorts of 'cloud and smoke' at us yesterday, when in the meantime we had DP, with much certainty. So the bringing up of all sorts of other options, am wondering now if it was done for wifom purposes. Yes, he had many good points, but...


UT - what is character's name, again? I'm sure you've stated it so i can always go back and check. But - could it be that he turned traitor after Ob had died?

Athene - you would know if this is plausible.. if he turned traitor, can a traitor still linger around after all scum are gone? or maybe he did just turn into an investigator.

We know Charlou visited him, but that was for the purpose of ensuring that Ob did indeed die and there was no chance that he could protect her. So - he wouldn't have flipped until after anyway.. so the fact that she visited him is kind of moot since it would have happened before he potentially flipped

could be - but i don't think that UT (if he has been flipped) would have been notified until after the finish of night 3. What do you think ksen? do you believe b.ternarius?

I believe she's an indie. I'm having a hard time reconciling a town compatible indie having a recruiting type power.

I was including the belief that I need to be lynched (as a variant scum, apparently) as well before town wins. Which according to my role description is not true.

According to mafia wiki, a traitor usually loses if all scum are removed from the game, so from that I don't think it is especially plausible.

I don't believe UT is a traitor, I think he's town.
