Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
Strange indeed, townies usually mention being bussed. I wonder why the subjects did not, myself.
Of course, if they were townies, they might have felt it was best to keep the existence of a bus driver special under their hats. But that no longer applies.
I will out at least one action before day's end if I feel I have to.

And i have to go do some lawn mowing now. I'll check in off and on over the next few hours.
Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
ok i think it might be helpful if people state clearly asap if they were or were not switched asap, just to avoid as far as possible anyone subsequently saying they 'forgot' to mention it
i'll kick off - i was not switched

##unvote## Still suspicious but it could explain why there was a vig/sk nk night 2 and night 1. Has anyone played a game where people were not informed in some way when they had been busdrivered?
Also, busdriver is not a standard special, is that in line with raven's op?

i don't think i've ever been busdrivered so i don't know how common it is for the switchee to be notifiedhiggs2 wrote:##unvote## Still suspicious but it could explain why there was a vig/sk nk night 2 and night 1. and no it's not a standard special i agree but it's still testable assuming raven would indeed notify the switchees

Well, there needs to be a Mafia lawn mower. I'm just sayin'.
I was not switched, or at least not informed of any switch.
And I agree with higgs on the flavour thing - a Bodyguard, a Don, an Immobilizer thingie, a Busdriver - oblivion's "minimalistic of specials" indication is looking curiouser and curiouser.

This is how oblivion exactly put it:
But it was early in the sign-up thread, and maybe it was just a preliminary plan?oblivion wrote:btw this game will be a bit on the minimalistic end of the specials spectrum. I'll need to put most of my creative efforts into the punnery.

no switch here, at least I didn't hear about one.

I haven't been switched either. As to ob's claim of a minimalistic number of specials, I'm getting suspicious that was a mislead.

There was only one kill night 1, and the kill method is the same used on Aden on night two. That's the scum nk, you're making an awful lot of mistakes this game.higgs2 wrote:##unvote## Still suspicious but it could explain why there was a vig/sk nk night 2 and night 1. Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
Okay, granted I haven't played a lot of mafia games, but pretty sure people usually got notified in games I've played, though I've not been a bus driver before, either. So do they sometimes not? Raven/Oblivion?
I'm tempted now to name the switches so they might be able to co-ordinate any other action that may have been switched between players, which might back up my claim. That ot the switches, at least one of them, involved two scum who'd rather see me hang by not admitting a switch. But I am fairly sure at least one of those players is town, not sure on the other.

Really guys, do not waste a lynch.

Re: Mythadventures - Day 3: Mythalliances
what do people think of gib?
on day one he was throwing his vote around on anyone that raised even a hint of suspicion until it came to irre buddying up with mantis. Irre just gets a fos instead of a vote change like everyone else did. He's also been the lead push behind both our town lynches. And what really gets me is that he's been basically giving orders to get them lynched. It doesn't seem like it's his normal build a consensus then vote approach. It seems counter intuitive to think someone's scum for being more forceful but something is bugging me with his game.

The bolded part is very close to special hunting, especially when it seems agreed that you aren't going to be lynched today.
